To emergency room worker.."Well shit..what was I supposed to do...dude cut me off...so I chased and got him stopped...yeah...well...I approached his car...fucker rolled the window down and fired point blank...what an asshole"This DOES happen.Worth it?Not to me it aint.

Cage driver to cop..."well hell yeah I feared for my life and my family's..dude had his helmet in his hand and was fixin to bust the window...what am I supposed to think?Hell...I didn't even realize I had cut him off...it's my right to defend myself".

Who wins?NOT the biker;)He gets to take umpteen recovery days off while his bud's are out there ridin;)Cage driver? He's got the law on his side...so he's doing just fine. And hating all bikers with a vengeance.

Worst case scenario I know...but around here...people are packing...one reason you don't hear a lot about stories like this....

Best not to tango with a car, keep a cool head and not push a bad position. I had a momentary lapse of good judgment when I kicked that door, but what can I say. As for packing heat. We have more guns per capita here in Canada then the USA. I know it's Canada. However in Tdot (where I live) most firearms are unregistered and belonging to members of a syndicate. So to be shot at here, would not be uncommon, as it can happen here too.

With the potential of a two ton battle ram, guns trained on the back of your head, it's best to stay away and focus on the exit plan. But we can all agree that some drivers that specifically look to push bikes out of the way or iron them out are, for us at least, an aggravation point. Police here do not like bikers, and often if there is a reason to cite the operator of a moto over a car, believe me, here too, cops are happy to do that. It's better to save the bike and the operator and fight another day!

With a cool head this is all well and good, however, my friend Beast was almost ironed out by a truck driver, a female operator in a Hyundai, and each time these folks were deliberately trying to muscle intimidate the biker. We did nothing but ride, but they obviously had a "hate for bikers" and acted out with their vehicles. I would say a cool head in neither incident did prevail. But alas, we are animals flashed with adrenaline in our ecu and for some folks there's no safety mode or rev limiter! Lol

Keep a handful of large ball bearings in your jacket pocket. I like to call it sidearm buckshot.
