privateer, did you take any measurements to compare the stock bars to the LSL kit? How much higher and further back are they? Did you buy the standard superbike bars or the 1" higher superbike high bars?

I got the standard superbike bar. The stretch on the hoses and cables would be more than I care for with the superbike high bar.
One of the things I'll do this coming winter, is have 3" over brake hose sent, and add 3" to the cables and put either the superbike high bar or another one I like on. Assuming I can figure out how to lengthen the throttle cable. I can have a pair made, I guess, they are pretty standard.

LSL bar kit really helps if you are tall and want to ride 400 mile days.

You won't need to lengthen the throttle cables with the superbike high bars. They'll work okay. You "may" however need to cut approx. 1" off the bar ends so you can get the grip housings in close enough to not pull.1"...you won't even notice that. You'll still get 4" rise and 7" pullback with the superbike High Bars.
