I was a UPS docker for 10 years, then a driver for 25.

Hats off to you. That is the most brutal work there is. Nobody knows unless they try it. They certainly get a days work out you in 3-4 hours. Something like 1500-2000 packages/loader was about normal if I recall. I was proud to do that work for about 5 months and then I got a little teaching gig. LOL most people lasted about a week. Many quit after the first day. I have another friend who was a package handler for 10 years and then became a driver. He had horrible Sups, too. I can't imagine it. Our Sups were very cool.

From what I hear, being a driver is no picnic either.

I worked unloading the trailers the first 3 years, so thousands of boxes a day, 150 in the heat of summer. Unloaded trucks, and washed the next seven. I was big, fat, and strong from farm work when I started. Lost 100 lbs the first 6 months. I had a 33" waste and 50" chest at 180 lbs. Now I'm big, fat, and crippled. Yeah, driving is brutal too.
