That's strange. So the bike came with the pipes on from the dealer, the dealer says to fight it out with Yosh? Talk about pass the buck. Well anyway, seems Yosh did you right.

Could that have been a dealer install tweak to the stress? That's why you want to float that header first. Wherever that sits all tight by itself, you see no stress. Now you work off the next pipe and unstress that next section to make it float at its happy position. Then mod from there. Who knows? I'm just saying.

Thanks Hub,
I bought the bike, new, and decided to buy yosh slips and have them installed before I left the stealership. I got a wicked deal, and I lost the bill of sale (kept it off orig bill of sale). Usually stone chips are not warranty items, and with no receipt they wanted nothing to do with it. I had a chit chat and sent em pics of my other bikes, all wearing yosh and said, I've never crushed my pipes with flung rocks (which is true). They played ball and helped me out. I was very happy!
