That's pretty sweat ebony. How does it sound? Is it overly loud? If I put my wife on the back will it burn her shoes? From the picture the end of the exhaust looks like it's right at the passenger foot rest.lol

I had a AH2 on my 2012. Fit great with no issues at all. At low rpms it has a nice healthy tone that isn't overly loud. At full song it is LOUD. I only rode with a passenger three times and not long rides but no mention of exhaust heat was mentioned. I had the same issue many have had, 1st launch at drag strip with brand new alpinestars boots left a nice melted spot on the boots.

The only reason I won't put another AH2 on my 2014 is if I move up to the CT meg or RCC rotary muffler.

I don't care about strip performance. I don't like the looks of the megaphones, and I'm sure they are much louder than traditional full exhaust even if they add another 1-3 hp. They look way too much like 650R or VF1200Fs stock exhaust. I'm pretty sure when I hear or read people talking about wearing ear plugs, it's these types of exhaust.

I'll take my slightly less peak hp Yosh R-77 system which will be loud enough and look a lot better. But ya like what ya like, no probs there!

The more research I do there's always one name that comes out at the top. Akrapovic. Does anyone have the akrapovic 4:2:1 on a gen2? Love to know what you think of it
