Well if it was Hub pissing people off, that would explain why I missed it. Can't understand a thing that guy says.

Hub's certainly NOT stupid-by any stretch-he's very sharp-and he knows a lot of stuff-AND, he likes to keep it the way it is-"unclear".(no offense HUB).(actually,I understand alot more of yer stuff than I used to-it does make sense-in a roundabout sorta way...LOL!)

One night at Cheers, Cliff Calvin explained the" Buffalo Theory" to his buddy Norm:
"Well, ya see, Norm, it's like this. A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members! ; In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first.. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine! That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers."

W.T.H.? Hub, Sharky, and BG are jumping ship over that little bit of crap???? If the thread offends you, don't read it. Easy peasy. Come on BG. You threatened to jump ship after you told 1Bad he could go crazy, even though we all warned you. Life, meaning this forum, will turn back around. Folks are just getting cranky because in the back of their minds they know winter is coming. And they will have to park their bikes before long. Happens every year.

You're traveling through another dimension -- a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's a signpost up ahead: your next stop: the Twilight Zone!

Hello Everyone
I'm not sure what sparked this thread in the first place but after reading all the posts only one thing comes to mind...
Can't We all just get along??
We seem to all have a common passion for our bikes and that is why we are all here in the first place and that is to get as much info as we can on the subject of the ZX-14. So lets not spoil this over a difference in oppinions...you can never get eveyone to agree 100% no matter where you are so lets not let it ruin everything B.G. has set up for us on this forum.

I agree that HUB is hard to follow. He writes in riddles that often times perplex me, as in "What the hell is he trying to say?"
And hell, I actualy know a couple things about motorcycles.

What in the fuck is going on here? I guess I got to the party a little late but it feels like the cops showed up and some angry Father grabbed his daughter and left..........
The greatest thing about this forum compared to many others is that people basically get along. It isn't all about bullshit polemics between kids, seeing who could piss farther. Differences of opinion were always tolerated and, damn, BG did a great job putting this together from the ashes of the oh so amazing old site. And Hub....shit, I've got piles of your rambling printed out so I could attempt to extract a few pearls of wisdom with careful re-reads away from the computer.
I like Romans' Canadian solution....in my family it's the Scottish solution, but whatever. Take it outside, may the best man win, dust yourself off and come back inside for a beer. Do it in words, man to man, but c'mon! This site is a great example of the whole being greater than the sum of it's parts; we need you guys! The collective knowledge here is really growing, and that the guy who started this forum and Hub whose idiosyncratic wisdom is really, really useful are both talking about jumping ship is a big fucking drag. No one should be indispensable here but these are some of our most venerated members.
And if you guys do in fact leave, Bon Voyage and serious thanks. You've been instrumental in turning this into the best ZX14 Forum. And I know shit like this is really constant on lots of other forums, but I always thought that this one was just a little more advanced. I'm not kissing any ass but I would be sorry as hell to see you guys leave.

When you've been on the internet as long as some of us, you start to realize this is just the normal flow of a forum, and to a large extent, life. This happens quite regularly on all the forums I frequent.....the bigger ones are even worse. It'll all be back to bidness' as usual in a week or so

Yea thats bullshit if Hub gets run off, he brings alot knowledge and credibility to the site. He stood up for whats right, he don't know me but had my back in this whole Jeffo thing, he saw a fellow biker get burned so he turned up the heat on the guy. Most of it was just joking around but I guess that pissed off all the Jeffo followers.

Yup, with Hub gone, you and me can cut out and Jeffo can have the whole site to himself.

Only three days and things seem to have calmed down. I've been checking out other forums and I find this one the most interesting and informative.
Hub said...
You have no stomach for the parody?Actually I saw some very funny things posted, or would have been funny if they weren't at someones expense. What I saw was a guy getting flogged, not a parody.
notfirst quotes JM...
“I like people who shake other people up and make them feel uncomfortable.” - Jim Morrison
As far as I'm concerned Politicians are the only ones who should be relentlessly parodied. They volunteered for it.
Anyway...Long live the ZX14..that's why we're all here
