Wassssssssuppp isn't the temperature here in Chicago-land! That's for sure! 7F for the high later today; near dble digit negative in the nights.

Garage door frozen shut this am. Temps dropped precipitously and the spitting precip and condensation on the metal door creates a puddle along the bottom of door on the lip which then freezes! Sno-melt just washes away during the precip and water left behind seals door shut.

I always check the door for a manual "pop" free before I trigger the opener. Lady across the street didn't and lost the bottom and lowest panel of her aluminum door; same model as mine. If frozen to manual "pop", then I gotta break loose with spade and new sno-melt app (boiling water in extreme case!), before opening.

that's my sad story; both the long and the short of it.

Well we just got our first snow and bit of really cold weather, although my door didnt freeze to the floor it certainly sucks out loud, but I did a few donuts in my car and made myself feel better, lol. Wrap up smat that looks pretty cold but at least you got cool toys to play with out there. hey Paul how ya been man!!??

Yeah, more cold and more snow and then more cold! Got -25/30 wind chill warnings for next couple days and then 4 or 5 more inches of snow and then back into the (-)digits for next week!

Worst winter in recent years; already over the average snowfall total for a winter; Garage constantly a "bloody mess" as they say in OZ! Using gravel or grit along with salt and beet juice here to keep roads passable and it all ends up in the garage over repeated bouts of commuting.

Big Ninja just sits at the side of one bay with the battery tender glowing a soft green; and we dream of clean roads, warmer climes, and skillful runnings! Well, I'd settle for clean roads and warmer climes......LOL. Asking for more skillful runnings may be too much for management to handle, heh,heh!

Guess I got spoiled over the last three years or so by the relatively mild winters (global warming?) and now a more typical Chicago winter is wimping me out.

Thank God that Feb is a short (although sometimes "violent") month. I'm always on the road in the first week of March! So........what........6 or 7 weeks till it ride time again?

Hang in there, everyone, it won't be (too)long, now. Yeah, right!

Here's some poetry for those so inclined: sent to me by a friend who could not drag himself out of bed in the 40 below wind chill to get to the health club pool this am.

I don't think I could freeze my balls off even for a laugh, lol, he is a brave one. I'm still totatly up for the motorsport park in 2015. The cold will kill some of the bugs that where trying to sniper up when it warms up so less cleaning of the windscreen. my big boy just sits there in a few pieces and a some scattered plastic waiting for the heater to blast the chill and the wrenching to take place, it gets lonely with no attention, lol. Patience is key now....hhhhmmmm

Wassssssupppp Nation? Been quiet on the forum lately. Dam winter had everyone hibernating! I cannot wait for this riding season to start! Got all kinds of goodies and I can't enjoy them. Sucks! Anyhow, let the warmer weather start marching forward!

Sent out my heel plates on Monday to be powder coated black. That should darken up the rear a lil bit.
