I have some preliminary findings from the CBLAST flash. I was only able to make 5 passes at my home track due to traction issues early on, but the track turned around later in the day and I got two solid passes in. The bike's torque from 4.5k and up feels significantly stronger. The power comes in smooth and steady all the way through redline. The Guhl's flash felt like it flattened out around 9k while Seb's flash seems to build all the way to the red. My time slips backed up this "seat of the pants" feel with my personal best back half MPH at my local track. It is also important to realize that it is quite a feat to lay down a personal best MPH in mid June with 80% plus humidity. My previous was recorded in Feb at around 50 degrees with 20% humidity. While this is not a personal best ticket, it does show my strongest back half MPH EVER at this track, a 29.06 MPH back half. My previous best here was a 25 MPH back half. That is a HUGE chunk of MPH! There is an event this Sunday at the same track and I WILL put the first ever 8 second pass down with a CBLAST flash. Questions and comments are welcomed.

Notice the win margin. :) That was an '08 68" GSXR 1000 with a full system and a dyno tune. Bwaa ha ha ha. ZX14R stock wheelbase supremacy. Also.... My RT was atrocious. I guess I was trying to give him a chance.. :)

maverick1441 question for you .. So you had Guhls flash with fueling ? I ask because I thought I read you had no P/C on the bike ? If I am assuming correctly about Guhls flash with fueling I also found that his flash was lacking power ..We tested two ZX14Rs with Guhls flash with fueling and they were both down a full tenth and two MPH on both bikes same day same track ..That is why I still run Brocks/Guhl flash with a P/C with Brocks street or strip pump gas map.. If this is the case it backs up what we found out with Guhls flash with fueling ..

I wish it was possible to test Brocks/Guhls flash with Brocks fueling in the P/C Vs Cblast ECU flash with fueling . I think we could learn a lot if we did test them back to back .. Anyway thank you for doing the testing.. I know full well what a pain in the butt it is going this testing ..

Correct me if I am wrong, but two months ago, without this flash, you posted a 8.97 and a 9.00 1/4 ET on another site. As you said on a previous comment earlier, Timing Lights don't lie. With this flash you did a 9.057, ddoes this mean you are actually running slower?

To Smoking: I was running the Guhl flash WITHOUT any fueling added AND using the PCV with Brock's pump gas track map. I laid down a 29.06 MPH back half IN THE HEAT with a PCV zero map. That is... Completely CBLAST fueling.

To Kofla: Two months ago is a HUGE difference in temperature. I believe the temp was in the mid 50s and I know for a fact that the humidity was much lower at that time. The 60' shows that I really got out of the hole decent and ET wise it was a superior pass. This does not however prove that the previous flash was superior. Pay attention to that back half mph on both passes. They are less than my 9.05 pass from last night. Mr. Lee knows all to well that ANY change in power delivery comes with a learning curve. Give me a few more weeks getting dialed in to it and I will beat that 8.97. Once I do that I suppose there won't be any room for argument. Especially when I do it in the summer heat. You see Kofla... You can't just paste up tickets and say lookie here you went faster with the old flash. This is why Mr. Lee said that it will be a pain in the ass to test. Variables are the name of the game and it takes guys with a metric ton of track experience to decipher what is really going on with the numbers. Remember that I am only presenting my findings. I took a huge gamble by taking an ECU that had been 8.97 and flashing over it with a man's work who is as passionate about his product as I am about my riding.

TO the site: Stay tuned guys. I am not done and I promise that CBLAST is not done. I have no reason to be anything but transparent in my findings. If you think you can disprove me then get a lane.

Maverick, some of us that have been around drag racing for the past three decades know it is a pain in the ass to test, we also know air density & temperature also makes a huge difference.

Well I guess all that is left is to put it on a 66 bike and see if it will go faster than 8.42@ 163.95 in 600 foot DA .. If so we got a winner and everyone will be cblasted !!! ..kind of sucks because will not see that DA till fall to find out ..:(

Would you please list the mods on that 66" bike? Was that stock wheels and wheel bearings? How much do you weigh again? Your record represents the ET for YOUR rider weight of course. We all know that weight will heavily affect ET. I would love to chase that ET at 66 inches one day, but the thrill and skill it takes to pilot a stock wheelbase bike is just to alluring for me.

Smokin’ I agree, why don’t you test out the CBlast flash? You break into the 8.30’s or even break your 8.42 the issue would be settled for good. Then we’ll all trade in our PC-V’s - brocks flash II and get Cblasted!

Brock’s Quiet Kore full system, which included clutch springs and spacers, adjustable shock links to quickly (10 minutes!) change rear ride height, a bolt-on strap to collapse the front end, an adjustable-length sidestand, plus a Dynojet Power Commander V and Guhl ECU reflash. Stock wheelbase (8.99 seconds at just over 155 mph)

maverick1441 8.42 pass I was 145 pounds , 155 or so with gear on .. BST wheels with ceramic bearings , air shifted , brocks /Guhl flash with brocks race/street map for pump gas, Alien head 2 pipe , Brocks clutch mod , steering damper , EZ drag shock for the 8.42 pass only ..100% street bike with all the rotors in place .. Only thing removed were the mirrors and rear pegs ..I ran a few 8.45 passes with the stock wheels .. My best MPH was with stock wheels 164.96 .. My 8.43 pass was a long time ago and I was very sick at the time ( close to death and didn't know it ) I was down to 120 to 130 or so at that time .. I felt for sure I would never run that 8.43 ever again with the extra 25 pounds but some how it did 8.42 ..My guess I was I was feeling better and just rode the bike better . I tested all these things one at a time just to see what gains I got .. With just a pipe ( old brocks smeg off my 09 zx14 ) and just under 64 inch WB ( cheap bolt on extensions), no P/C , no flash I ran a stack of 8.52s .. tuned P/C 8.49 to 8.47 .. Flash 8.44 to 8.45 ..Added BSTs, well you know the rest ..I don't run 0wt oil and I run a 0ring chain ( EK ZZZ 530 )

As for getting Cblast flash I can't right now , I just lost my son in law today , so any extra money I have will be going to help my daughter and my two grand kids ..I have other flashes to test that I got from others for free and a few flashes I made myself to test .. Maybe down the road I can get his flash and test it ..But before that I want to try my woolich log box pro and auto tune to see if it can build a better flash with fueling ..So many things to try and so little time ..

I post tickets and they don't. Have you ever wondered why? My personal best was run in DA that was very very low. I just posted a ticket that was less than a tenth off of that in hot muggy summer weather. If I can post an 8 ANYTHING in the summer with this flash then it will have out performed the Guhl flash. PERIOD. I'm not sure if you have stock in Guhl or Brock's Kofla, but you act like competition is a bad thing. Let's turn the heat up and force the weak out of the water. In the mean time I have a beverage for those that are resistant to change.

I'm going to put this out there and you guys can do what you want with it .. My friend with his 2012 zx14r just put down a 8.82 at 159 in FL with a DA of 2700+ feet .. Guess what ? No flash , no weight added, foot shifting , nothing but a pipe and P/C pump gas tune by Brock ..I know because I installed the P/C and map . Hell he still has the mirrors it ..He weighs more than me ..I'm shocked every time I see him run those numbers in this heat. He 60s in the low 1.50s and wheelies most every run ..Seems he out runs both flashes with NO flash .. Crazy is it not ? The video below is Jason at BMP that day was 2275 DA 90 Deg 50+ humidity ..Pretty great run , not his best but still a very nice pass..

I'd be curious to see those cell numbers and that's about it. And a Stock ECU blows everything else away. I tend to believe it.

I'm going to go with MAN64. Something about a preset and that's all she wrote, until you write different numbers in the cell blocks. How can I describe how you move the torque is to move the HP all the way up to the preset. The dyno calling the shots, and the tuner moves: where else did dynojet say to put it? Find peak HP is all there is to chase > Is the preset.
