UPS delivered an 08 C14 seat last night and I got it for $150 shipped with 185 miles of use. It has a black back and grey front which I thought was gonna look funky but doesn't look to bad on the bike. All I had to do was swap both seat latches off the ZX seat and transplant them onto the C seat.
I would love to give you all a ride report but prolly ain't gonna happen at a 25% temp..............

I've been tryin' for months to get a C14 seat.
Either some monkey drives the bidding so high on flea-bay it makes it prohibitive to ship to the frozen north,or the guys on the various C14 sites ask way more than what it's worth, or like what happened to me, this putz in Ontario promises me his because he bought a corbin, we settle on price, ($100 bone plus shipping) then after exchanging e-mails for 2 months, nothin'.
I go one the C14 site and call out this dufus, I didn't use his name (I don't play that way) but gave enough info so HE knew who I was takin' about. Sure enough he's been on the site daily with no reply. I PM'd him and nothin'.

Soooooo, I have been looking on the micro-fiche and all I really need is the foam and seat cover. I'm thinkin' of just buying that from Bandit and going that route.....before I walk to Ontario and shoot some dumb-ass, punk Connie rider.

I don't even want to try and compete for a used one, and a whole new one is totally out to lunch. Hmmmm... New seat cover and foam? Keep us updated if you go this route.
