Not necessarily for navigation. Looking to head to a track soon and would like to clock some times and mph. I don't need anything fancy just something that will show speed accurately.
Thanks!

Harry's Lap Timer

You dont have to but for extra accuracy I use a external blue GPS receiver
You can also do overlays like this one from a track day I day earlier this month.

That is increibly sick, piken! The lean angle indicator doesn't seem very precise but still a cool function.
If you want cheap, look for an old used Garmin. I'm sure there are a ton of them on Ebay since people usually just buy a new one rather than update the maps. I have one from about 2000 and it works very well for an almost instant GPS speed reading. Maybe a half second lag. You can recall your top speed but you probably won't be able to display a log like piken's.

Yes, lean angle is not correct.
I normally only use Harry's for a lap timer and
use separate go pro for video.
But it offers you the function to do overlays from
external video and I did mostly for the fun of it.
You can re-calibrate the lean angle depending on how
you mount you phone, which I didnt do.
I cant recommend Harry's enough its cool and only
like $15? android or apple

Get a Garmin VIRB action camera. I use one (actually I have two, for front and rear) and they work fine.
