Sorry I can't pinpoint the problem for you but there are quite a number of wires harnessed together going to the multi function meter connector. There must be several of them not carrying power on your bike. I would check the fuses. It's very unlikely several wires would die all at the same time but a blown fuse would cause this to happen.

Is this a Gen1 ZX-14?

check for bite marks from rodents, they seem to be attracted to the 14's wiring harness... it's happened to me, one cylinder not firing, display going haywire, etc...

Sounds like more of the dash's motherboard. A guess would be to find the pin out of the downed signals, ohmmeter to said pin(s), turn key on and if pin(s) lights up the meter, its not the wiring.

As for pins, I had one that was just bent ever so slightly and that prevented a connection. I actually had looked at it a few times before noticing the pin was not perfectly straight. This was on an aftermarket electronic part, not the OEM wire connector.

Sounds exactly like what I had a couple years ago, do a search and you should find my thread. It turned out to be a broken CAN Bus wire, Blue/Gray. Looked like it had been cut. KHI wanted me to replace the entire engine harness, I soldered it back with a wrist splice and shrink wrap and it has been good to go ever since. Pull the seat and look at the wire bundle entering the ECU, it was clearly visible as I remember.
