Humm..aint cool to throw vile language at anyone no matter how much you disagree, but I understand the passion in this topic.
The whole world at present, faces an uncertain future due to the meltdown of the financial system.
To think that Obama- a guy who has not even run a decent sized town, is now in charge of the most powerful country in the world,is down right scary. His wild spending spree could serously endebt generations to come and may place the future propserity of America in serious doubt.
The most serious international issue facing the liberals under Obama is how America will now treat Israel and her enemies. So far, in my estimation, Obama seems to be steering the US rapidly towards dire consequences on that front as well.
As to the social side of the Obama equation I am opposed to his demoncratic/liberal world view in general. The moral depravity of that world view is revealed most tellingly in their passionate denial of the right of life to children in the womb. It is notable that Hitlers National Socialist Party also sanctioned killing those they deemed non human and such liberal darlings as Planned Parenthood" actually had their idealogical cousins in Hitlers Germany.
Adolf Hitler - "The demand that defective people be prevented from propagating equally defective offspring. . . represents the most humane act of mankind." Mein Kampf, vol. 1, ch. 10
Hitler used the depression of the 20-30's in Germany to take charge of the country, to reduce personal rights and freedoms, and to set social agenda via big brother big government knows best, fascist approach.
Fascism - a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition
2: a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control
The grab for more and more centralized power " for the betterment of the country " is clearly happening before our eyes with Obama.
This comment by Obama as to the military is rather disconcerting:
"We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."
Barack Obama, 2 July 2008
What exactly he is promoting here I really do not know, but I am rapidly loosing any capacity to give the guy any benifit of the doubt, given what he has said and done to date.
In the end Obama appears on track to make Bush look like a the best thing since sliced loaf in comparison.
I sincerely hope and pray I am proved absolutely wrong and Obama defies all and turns out to be a good president.
I have little to go on that says that will happen but
the world is betting their lives
and their childrens lives
that it will.
