well, I guess that might just have been the ride of his life. Probably be one of those things that he talks about when he's an old fart. Hell, get it out of your system....at 27 you still have plenty of life to live and time to grow up. He'll get off easy for this if he has no serious priors and he treats the judge with respect. I hope he does.

He could drag whatever he wanted bu that would not get him out of sight from that copter. From what I have been told, it is not hard at all to outrun them but they can see you from so far away that you don't normally stand a chance of escaping if the copter has more gas than you do.

That's a long chase at high speed. Most departments would have broken off the chase unless the guy had committed some sort of heinous crime.
