Okay...HID's are IN...and working great!35W,highs and lows...6K.Coretek(A1A sportbikes)....quality stuff.EASY fitment. They really make the frontend stand out...way more stylish than the stock lamps.

You HAD to ask!!!!NO!!!!!I completely forgot to install the white LEDS they sent with the set.Gotta say....that left hand ram air duct...GEEZ!BARELY enough room to slide that bulb in there, let alone TURN it in the socket!!!!But I got er.If anyone is wondering.....YES...they increased the size of those ram tubes....quite a bit actually!
That's YOUR bike Wheelie?Lookin good there my man with those HIDs and RED runnin lamps!
Whattaya think about the new shape of the frontend...the aeros?I think it just looks AWESOME....The way they subtly made her more pointed at the ram duct and wider at the top there.Lovin those shapes along the very front, right below the mirrors on the front sides going up by the windscreen. This bike is just friggin WAY BAD.I'm REALLY likin the fitment on this bird.FINALLY>>>>everthing fits right!
Removed that rear fender...really rounds out the 'fast' look of the whole thing.Tonight...in just a bit...gonna see if my CF hugger will go on her.Looks to me like the same chain guard attachments...position-wise.
TADA!!!!!Hugger in and fitting perfectly! They did not change the chain guard mount holes. The wire 'brackets' on the right side did have to come off though....but no big deal...everything's okay without those.NOW...my rear shock is gonna stay CLEAN this time around!

hey grn you should jump on this
Brock's Performance is in need of a local ZX-14R for product development and marketing purposes over the winter and into the 2012 springtime season. If you are near Dayton, OH and interested in ending up with a 'Brocked Out' and personally tuned machine at the end of this project (+ other benefits), give our sales staff a call at 937-912-0054 or e-mail Sales@BrocksPerformance.com for additional information.

Terribly tempting Scott. If I lived close by there,it'd be on(probably). Thanks though for the heads up.Whoever gets that deal is gonna really be happy. Right now, with as few miles as I have on her...I can't imagine a bike with MORE hp or torque! This one is fine just as it is!

nice job on the HIDs.
You want to show the new grill design to it's best, I see. Standin ov to Kawi on that new design. I really can't imagine how they would make that better. Really beautiful. A bit ostentatious but this is the 14 --doesn't really lend itself to "subtle".
You can green out the flashers but I always thought Kaw did a wonderful job designing the flashers front and back. Glad they stuck to that, it is the perfect answer to streetable and sportable w/out requiring removing the lights. Same goes for mirrors. If you want to leave them on, at least they look good. (i recently went to CRG bar end mirrors--not as easy to see w/pout moving your head, but they do give a surprizinly wide view behind) The stock mirrors do weigh about a pound each. CRG 1/4 pound each.
and the CRGs will come right off easier than the OEMs if you need.

Ya....I'm with ya on the turn lenses.Glad they left those alone.AND the mirrors. Thanks for the kudos on the lamps(to whoever).I thought they made the styling show up more as well....part of the reason I changed em out.I don't plan on doing much night riding this next year.

Got some of those bar end mirrors f/s along with the block-offs, if anyone's interested. Not sure of the brand since they came with the bike, but they look like the CRG's.
Never mind. they're sold

I noticed on the German Kawasaki web site that they sell a performance model of the ZX14R labelled the ZZR1400 Performance. It sells at a €2,000 price premium over the regular ZZR1400 and seems to come with a really nice looking windscreen, Akropovic exhaust canisters, and the tail cowling that is standard on our North American model.
On my next trip to Germany I intend to get the smoked windscreen just for appearance purposes. The Akropovic canisters will probably be available for sale here at some future date but the ones sold through Kawasaki must be incredibly pricey.

Ya...that windscreen is the MRA 'spoiler screen'...smoked.
Let me clarify here...the web pic on the German site has the right hand mirror blocking the view of the screen edge and how it fits along the fairing.Maybe purposely,IDK.MRA IS a GERMAN company however.I think the MRA is the one in that pic,and the fitment is as mine is?It takes a tad getting used to,having the screen stick out past the fairing, but it does go with the lines actually(IMO).And it fit perfectly on there,so IDK.

Thnks Cas.That 09 you have in your avatar there...she's lookin pretty friggin sweet as well!
Thanks for the props... she's fun... definitely no 14... but it's a great commuter and canyon carver. Here is a pic of my actual bike just in case you actually wanted to see it:
I've added quite a few mods to it. I've had it for a little over a year and a half and have ridden for a little over 10K miles. I'm so ready to move up... just gotta wait until I get back from deployment.
