Brock had the 1000RR produce 191-192 hp at the rear Wheel. If I remember correct this was done with aftermarket exhaust, pc, race gas and "some oils". With its weight if the 14 R doesn't produce 200 hp after similar mods... it'll just fall into the sport bike for bigger guy category.

I like the marketing strat. RG racing the 14R against the busa but there is no way I'm going to believe the guy will wheelie a busa that much off the line. NOOOO waaaaay Jose. I do think however that a 14 R will kill eat a gen 2 busa.

during the time i spent on the bike, it was only for photoshoots and videos for the release.
there was only one bike that was a runner and betwen the video crew and the static photo crew, the bike has been busy since it arrived.
There is still only 1 running bike in the country, which is not in my possession, so I have no control over dyno'ing the bike.
Trust me when you guys see the hp it makes you will be blown away, Kawi just dynoed it against last years bike and the Busa, but its up to them if they release it to the public.I would think that they wouldnt be able to keep a number like this quiet, but they have their reasons!

Soooo, to answer your question – yes, when/if I get a bike. I will start out stock wheelbase… then throw the kitchen sink of Brock’s Performance products at it. I have bills to pay and I do that by SELLING PRODUCT. No one pays me to write a single word in forums or in print. You guys like to act like I’m a heavy hitter in the industry… well look who DID NOT receive a bike early for product development (again) and still does not have one on the way – nothing but words at this point. If you want me to test one, let people know. Let your dealer know, e-mail Kawasaki – whatever you have to do to get the word out. I’m really not interested in trying to buy one before winter; it’s already hard enough to get through it in this industry.

^^^Brock sounds pretty excited about the new bike, doesn't he? ^^^

Sorry, but if I'm gonna ralley the troops to try to get anyone a free bike, it's gonna be for me... Maybe he should race Rickey for one.

Maybe Riding a Busa, Can't wait to see what there answer is for the new Kawi, lighter with more power= Easy Win ?

Beemer time?

Beemer time... naw, I sat on one (tried to anyway)... not unless I was 10 years younger

Just got off the phone with my guy from BMW here in Germany and he had some interesting news for me. To get to the point about whats to come for 2012, there will be two, 2012 models for the S1000RR. One of the two models is simply the current bike but with the 2012 VIN numbers. The second model to be released in 2012 will be revealed in Milano, Italy in November. My guy here in Germany, spoke to the guys in Munich themselves and they said that the new model of the S1000RR will simply be a cosmetic change. Along with the new cosmetics are new colors. The price is unknown and will also be given out at the release. He said there will be absolutely no change to engine or computer. Because BMW wants to sell all their existing bikes in stock they are going to do their best to not release any info on the new model. The factory here in Berlin will close next week for their summer vacation which will last about three weeks. I was told that the last time to get in an order for a US spec RR (current model) will be September. I, like many of you will be torn between waiting for the new model and end up not liking the new facelift but have no other option when it comes to buying a new S1000, or purchasing a 2012 old model and I end up liking the new model but don't want to turn in a new bike for another new one. Everyday I have the itch to go place my order here and get some more riding in before the season ends....but I must be patient!! Hope you all enjoy the tid-bit of news!

You are considering a Beemer... ain't ya?

Brock posted this on BL last night:

So guys... what if there is a doomsday scenario and Kawasaki did their homework so well with the OEM exhaust, like BMW did, that the aftermarket world can only pick up 5 horsepower or so?

What then?

Here at motogram der stat, we are here to tell you about our race effort. After 3 years of trying to make a podium finish, we came up with zip of an R&D as develop anything new on the bike. It's just an old keg of beerstein, rotting outside in the back of the puboobfest. We are a bunch of boobs and well, ear is how we show it wit not too much [has-been] changed but color. Like our paint shop is blind as our race team we keep bumbling in the same pit crew wit the same race attitude = Whine Near Shit SELL. Translated: Don't hold your breath.

Yeah, I'm buying bike. The shop manual. Stay up on the tech and that is about it. Either Busa is silent they have nothing, or they are waiting for Milan? Is that the first euro show? If they don't have it out now... 4-getoe-boutit!
