I finally got tired of the stock horn on my '06, since I could fart louder than that whimpy POS - installed a Wolo bad boy air horn behind the headlights, had to use a 30A relay (stock horn only draws 2.4 amps) to handle the 19 amps this thing draws - had to cut up some of the plasztic on both the cover under the headlights and the shield that mounts to the front of the forks, mounted it with ty-wraps ( a couple around the instrument mount to take some of the weight off of the whole mess, bottom line is it is invisable unles you are laying on your back, and now I have the ability to stampede sheep, cows, horses, pedestrians, and just generaly scare the shit out of cagers.
The only problem I am having is remembering to use the sucker - spent too much time with the stocker - I will need to re-train myself.
By the way, this was the only complaint I had with my 14, well mabye the milage, but I did not buy it for economy, 19K miles and zero trouble - course now it weighs a couple of pounds more (Damn!) time to strip off something else, or another power adder.....

I upgraded mine long ago by removing it!

Great mod IMHO- less weight and more airflow to the radiator.

Stock horn sounds like a raccon fart. The exhust I have on now is so damn loud cars wont get close at all. I llok in the mirror and there 3 car lenghts behind me and no cars at all on the left or right of me. I have all this free space and am just so gitty.
