Drain a hot engine, replace the filter, pour in 4.3 quarts, done and done. Sight glass be damned.

That is a little lower than what I have after a recent oil change and most agreed I was fine. Your is between the lines so you are ok. In regards to 4.3 quarts I think it depends on how much you are able to get out albeit that should be close. Better to have too little than too much and getting some out to bring it back down!

Ride safe, but fast.
