I have a new in the box, carbon fiber rear hugger for a ZX 14.

It is for 2006-2011 model years.

It will also work for 2012+ model years but a bracket would have to be fabricated where the hugger attaches to the rear brake bracket on the swingarm. It would be a simple fabrication job.

Oh, OK. I see it now.

For some reason I am/was thinking that there was a bracket/tab on the swingarm that held the rear brakeline????

Anyway, if it were me, I'd get a small piece of aluminum or metal strapping and make a bracket that attaches to the bracket on the swingarm and then one of the holes in the hugger.

I have seen other guys do it and it looks fine.

You can then go to your local hardware store and buy a plastic plug to put in the remaining hole in the hugger.

Make sense?

It does look good though.

Might as well get the carbon fiber front fender now.

I have a CF front fender on it.
The previous owner did not have a rear fender on it. Maybe he took the bracket off. If anyone has a pick of the bracket please post.

You have to lower it or is your wife tall?

My wife rides an FZ 6 R. I initially put in a lowering link and dropped the triples to get it to fit her but it handled like shit.

Last year I pulled the shock and forks and sent them to Traxxion Dynamics and had them revalve and respring it to lower it and still have the correct suspension geometry.

She's the one on the right. LOL
