280 kit on ZX-14!
01/06/13 11:08 AM

Hi guys,
I need your opinion about putting the 280 kit on 2012 ZX-14. The front wheel is 17" and the rear wheel is 20" with the jackshaft swingarm. It will be my daily riding bike.
Probably will be riding the bike about 3 or 4 days a week if the weather permit.
What do you think? I can get a good deal on this kit used.
Thanks!

As long as you don't enjoy going around any corners, go for it, I guess....

well 240 will work the same as the 190 I figure another 40 wont hurt kinda in between 300 ad 240. The only concern I have is, the rear will sit higher since it's 20" wheel

What is the aspect ratio of the 280mm tire?

I assume you will be using an extended swingarm? Believe me, that WILL affect your handling. The width of the tire plus the length of the bike will cause you to want to take long rides on straight roads.
