Who makes a quality fender eliminator for the ZX14R? I am a ZRX owner as well and checked with Ted383 on the ZRX board and he is out of business. I didn't realize he went out of business.

Anyone have a line on a good quality fender eliminator for the 14R, please post up. Pics welcome, too.

I have seen some fender eliminator's which were owner made, and I may just do that. A friend owns a shop, but it's always a chore to get him when he isn't busy.

If so, anyone know of a good, low profile LED license plate light, otherwise called a tag light that is sold by itself? I want a small, low profile LED tag light so I stay legal and I don't want to start chopping up/removing wiring, etc.

It's so easy and simple to DIY a license plate holder. Click here for the tag light I used. Works great, super bright. I made a simple plain jane bracket for mine out of a piece of scrap aluminum.

I just took off my new yosh Elim. Paid 265 bones. Make me an offer!!!

I also made my own out of ABS that I laminated together to make it strong. The chrome stud hanging down is a LED that's temporary. I haven't received my permanent tag. When I get it the tag bolts will both be LED's using the studs.

I ought the Yoshimura too. I I,ie it. I think I paid $86 for it?

I'd just go to the local harware store and get a couple l brackets. cost under $3.

I will say though a few bolts and plyable aluminum is the cheapest and best way to go! Costs 2 bucks!

I see three peices of ABS on your setup. How did you bend two peices to those angles without breaking it? You applied heat, of course, but what did you use to hold the ABS, and what tool to apply the heat? You probably eye-balled the dangle angle, right?

Yes, I applied heat. I used a heat gun and got the correct angle on 1 piece of ABS first, then I heated the other and quickly put the 2 together so the angle was exact. Afterwards I laminated it all together with epoxy. The bracket is unbelievably strong. I made it the same size of the footprint of the stock fender so all the holes got covered up. I didn't want water getting under the seat. My plan is to plastidip the hardware and the tag LED's black

There are a number of wasy to make your own really cheap. On my zx10 I just used a set of right angled shelf brackets and mounted to stock holes to plate, bought a sinble white LED drilled a small hole above plate in tail and wired to stock plug. On the ZX14 wanted something diffrent. AN ebay special. CAn get it in diffrent sizes and colors with or without tail light. Fairly cheap 25-80 bucks depending on what you want.

Got my eliminator off ebay for 25.00 bucks and the tag light is built into the tag dress up off ebay with the led lights built in, pic later
