That's cool, and the M4's look fantastic, sound great, and also come with quiet inserts too. Nice stuff!

Cblast - If you do talk to Muzzy about it, tell them 1) include instructions! (NOTHING was included, so I didn't learn that I HAD to re-use the OEM gaskets (or, as I learned, buy new ones) until reading online after the problems started), and 2) include new gaskets!

smatlock42 - Crap ... now I wish I had bought M4's. They do look good, and I would LOVE to have inserts.

Give the Muzzy's a chance bud, you will love em. I wouldn't trade mine out, I am happy wih the sound and everyone comments on em in a positive way.

And I most certainly will point this stuff out, the squeaky wheel gets the grease!

when i was looking at the muzzy slips on ebay, the sellers said you need OEM gaskets for install...

I wouldn't bother with the old ones...

Update: ... 'Cuz I know y'all were dying to know how my mid-pipe crumple screw-up turned out

My new OEM gaskets arrived today, so I took those and the mid-pipes to a muffler shop. Showed the guy that I need the mid-pipe flange flared back out to accept the new gasket, to which he said, "No problem, gimme a minute." He brought it back out to me and the thing looks brand new, and the gasket fits perfectly Then he happily did the 2nd one, which came out perfectly, too. I asked how much I owe him, and he said, "Nah, nothing.", and really meant it. I tipped him $20. He reached for his wallet saying that was too much, that he'd give me change; I said, "No, this is perfect, I'm happy with $20." Best $20 I've spent in a long time. So, I should be able to mount up the new Muzzy's slip ons permanently tonight ... and see if I can live with how loud they are

Finally hit 500 miles on the ODO tonight and immediately zipped up to 6000 RPM ... Yeeow!

At first I really enjoyed the stealthy quietness of the giant OEM mufflers. Nobody can hear that you're haulin' arse ... but after hearing these growling Muzzy's, I can't see me going back!

Here's a random pic ... although not of the Muzzy's:
