Well after a 3 month wait the bike finally got here. Going out to put some kms on it tonight. Feels a bit weird after riding a Harley for a while, but love it!

I'd like to ask ya about your rear shock...I have one as well...where's yours set at?And your weight?I haven't been able yet to go ride and see how she feels with this new shock on there...but it 'seems' very stiff...that's with no preload on there.I can't detect much sag at all sitting on her.Also...my setup configuration appears a bit different from yours...I have the compression tube on the right side(sitting on the bike)and the preload tube on the left side...back at the muffler bolts.I don't see that on yours. You have your preload adjuster tube on the right side there?
I'd also like to ask you...about that preload adjustment...the instructions say 15mm 'standard'.Where are they measuring that at?
Okay...I see now...your shock is a TTX...that clarifies it.

Hey Grn14, I haven't had a chance to look at the settings on mine. At the moment it is factory set and after the first ride I have found it to be nice and smooth, the factory settings seem good so at this stage I will leave it that way for now. I have some reading to do as the bike being a limited edition came with an extra manual for the Ohlins shock. I am no expert when it comes to suspension setup.

WOW - Nice - especially the fact that you can purchase with Ohlins and the Akra pipes already installed!!!! Too bad we don't have those options in the US!!!

Sure was a good deal mate. I was told they were only bringing 50 of these into OZ so if that's true it will be nice to have a bike with such limited numbers.

Well...to be honest....I went about 7 more clicks out on the rebound dampening, and the compression I opened up some more....several clicks over the stock Ohlins setting for the 14R(out).The preload I left at the piston length, and opened up the knob adjuster more.IDK how much actually....there is no measurement except at the spring top...it's mated up to that right now.No gap I should say...seems almost perfect.I think by track standards...it would be a tad too soft...but for street....rolls like a dream.I found my cornering speeds have gone up a bit so far...the back feels really planted.Soaking up bumps really well...barely feel anything.
