Ebay drop pegs
03/04/17 4:33 PM

Being a bit arthritic, I got some drop pegs for my '12 14R but, I didn't like how they made me ride all pigeon toed and the shifter was too far away.

Not wanting to give up just yet, I looked around and found a shifter off an 09 ER6N Kawi. It's an inch and a bit longer and sits further outboard than the 14R piece, restoring the relationship between the parts. It's also made of steel so, I can tweak it, if needed. I gotta roll the bike out of the shed as soon as winter decides to end but, it seems worth a try and cost only $20.

I bought a set of adjustable pegs off eBay. I was originally thinking about buying it from Japan but the Chinese-knock off price was too god to miss. I am pretty happy with what I got. I had to adjust the gear shifter a couple of notch but the peg made long rides much easier on my old legs.

I just bought the Knight Design lowering pegs and they are really nice, but if you are looking for cheap look elsewhere. I try to save money whenever I can since I did not get what I have now by giving it away; however, I feel they were worth it.

Ride safe, but fast.

That's what I have, and they are worth it imo.

I had my legs shortened so I could keep the stock pegs.

Not the third leg though... can't afford to lose any wingspan there or TRAILFLOSS will leave me. Then only 1Fat will talk to me.
