how tall did you go? I am 6'0..so I am not sure what height would be good.

The risers are 3//4". The bars can be turned all the way to each side and are still clear or the fairing. I am 6'0 also.

I put the Genmars on.
One inch rise. No problems. Ten minute install, total.
Hoses barely long enough, but they fit.
Brake reservoir just barely touches the inside fairing when bars are turned all the way to the left, but it's not a problem. Other 14,s don't touch at all.

MHO: Heli's rule. Takes just a few minutes. I'm 6'3" with shortish legs and a long upper body so I definitely feel out in the wind and above the eddy-bubble a bit more but my wrists are happy. Maybe a Puig is next. Seems to make the perfect machine that much better.

Heli risers make a big difference. I didn't think 3/4 of an inch would change much but it did. Very glad I performed this mod. Huge difference in wrist comfort. I am 6' 210.

Heli risers are the way 2 go i've fitted them to my 08-14 and they are just GREAT 3/4" higher made the world a greater place. I've had problems with my shoulder but no worry's now on my pride and joy...

Hello, I've got a set of Heli bar risers that were on my '08 14. They worked great, but I lost alot of weight and went back to the stock location. I'll sell them for $50 if you want them. If interested, I'll be glad to snap a couple of pics of them.

Plus 3 for the heli risers. Easy install and makes a big difference in comfort. Im 6ft 215.

L liked my raisers so much I changed them in the parking lot while doing the trade .
Made a big differnce to me

Helibars - spot on, 20mm dont sound much, but makes a big difference if you get stuck in slow traffic or on a long days riding.

I've tried both Heli and Genmar. Have Genmar on now.

Both are essentially the same in terms of quality and fit. The Genmar give a bit more rise and kickback.

You can go with Helis AND Genmars-they'll fit on there together-just need 3" Allen bolts.I had both-worked very well for a time.

Blue, can you explain how to do that? With just the Genmars in, the reservoir makes contact (barely) with the inside of the windscreen frame at left lock. If you raised the clipons another 3/4" (Helis) you could not turn lock to lock, and in fact, could not remove the key from the ignition then.

At least, on my 08.

You need to readjust the levers-dip the reservoirs just enough to clear the fairing.It still may lightly rub at full turn-you can also back that windscreen screw out just a bit,enough to let it clear.Mine worked okay-it MAY have rubbed ever so slightly-but nothing to worry about.(how often do you go full left or right?)Right?Never had trouble locking the steering.The fitment is in the brake lever perch angle.That's the key there.Get that right and it'll fit okay.Plus you can slightly bend the reservoir clamp,just enough to customize the fit.Be careful you don't just grab the plastic reservoir and yank it-the bolt fitting can crack(from bending the PLASTIC).You have to bend the bracket.(slightly).(don't use the reservoir to bend the bracket!)When you're done adjusting-you DON'T want the reservoir feed hole going "uphill".It should be level with the ground.(on both).

Hello ARKNINJA-You will need to loosen your brake perch clamps,adjust the perch(for more slack)and re-route your brake line going from lever to junction at the lower fork plate.It needs to come over approx. 2 inches to the right-which can be done by fashioning a bracket,and reattaching to the fork plate mount.Easy deal.

You're using both,Genmars and Helis,right? You need four 3" allen bolts for your install.Have fun!!

I'm 6' as well, with real long legs. I do have the Genmars which adds an inch, but I still need to lower the seat and get lower footpegs so I don't feel so scrunched up. I've got the rear adjustable lowering links to install to bring the rear down an inch. Also will drop the nose an inch to dial everything in.

Their specs say a 3/8" rear offset... not really sure what they are referring to (moving the clips back towards the rider?)

Has anyone heard of a similar product to this that you can also change the angle that the bars sit? I'd like to try a flatter angle as it seems that's how my hands natually sit on the bike.
