But will the Murph's bolt on to the 2012 ZX14R and clear the pipes?
I'm wanting to lower the pegs on my new ZX14R and drop my knees some.
At some point I will be going with the CT Duals also, my guess is I will pick up even more room, would that be correct?

Thanks

Quoted from Murph's site....

Our pegs drop the height of your foot just about 1-1/2", while giving up a minimum amount of cornering clearance. They do this while also moving the foot position back slightly, avoiding the "pigeon toe" operation of the shifter and brake so often found with simple peg lowering blocks.

Does anyone have the Murph's pegs? If so, what mods do we have to make so they fit the 14?

I hd those corbin's on my 07...for about a week. The left side fit okay...the right side...the brake master hose and all had to sit on the OUTSIDE of the mount plate.Nah...no way.And the resetting of the foot controls...nope...she didn't shift good at all with that lever moved even down one groove. No thanks...went with the Buell's...the firebolt ones I think they were...for the XB12.Drilled as mentioned...they fit great.Found out later though...I didn't really need em after I lowered my seat...strange as that sounds.

That statement is kind of confusing. Murph's Kits lowered pegs fit the Concours 14. They are not made for the ZX14, but may fit, or may not.

Someone is going to have to try, and see what if any machining is needed to make them work.

One of the ZRX guys that also has a 14 put the Murphs pegs on his and loves it. Direct bolt on and he turned his 14 into a tourer from a 9:20's track bike.

So this is a pretty big deal if the Corbins are out of the question. I plan on touring with my 14R and I can't ride this bike without some nice leg room improvement.

I was planning on gaining 1.5 inches down and another inch forward with the corbins. If I have to use the buell's or Murphs I won't get close to that. Moving even slightly further back with the Murphs.

Is that it for options?

Also, the following was posted on anther site as a Corbin fix. I really have a hard on for them so I may just do this.

"I installed the Corbin set and love them. Don't give up the ship! I noticed that the install put a bit of stress on the hose leading from the rear brake master, but nothing too bad. As far as the hose to the caliper is concerned, it only goes to figure that the grommet isn't going to be in the same place since you're moving the whole assembly forward. Here's the quick fix. Take the grommet out of the holder and forget about it, or like I did, take a hobby knife and carefully cut it off the brake line. It's only glued. THEN take the line holder on the back of the swing arm (the thing that keeps the brake line from getting into the works) and bend the rear part down a bit. Really frees up the tension, looks factory, and works splendidly."

Auron, I hope Corbin improved the finish because the ones they sent me, and two others I've seen, were rusting.

That would suck, but I'll buy them if no one else makes something to save my knees.

Hard to believe any company that sells nearly $2000 saddlebags (that are only meant to look good) can produce such shitty products. But much like their seats, no one else makes accessories that do what Corbin's do.

I had a Corbin seat on my ZX11 and liked it. But I lived 20 minutes from Hollister so I ordered it and picked it up in person. Tom Corbin was a good guy back then. They are snotty now.

There are a lot of seats that make a Corbin look like junk. Some people would say they are junk without any help.
