Hi folks,
well finally finished the bike yesterday.. After afew weeks of deciding what I wanted to do I went with the performance upgrades first with afew new toys..
Full Yoshi-77 carbon..
PC5
Ivans TRE
CRG levers
K&N
Fender Eliminator
Grips
Removed ugly decals from bike... Pure black looks sweet...
Got a great deal from Cycle58.com and they arrived fast... Not a single issue with them.. Did the work myself so I saved on that... Next is tires (Mich Pure Sports)/stabo and some Carbon Fiber parts to mix it up some...
Seat Cowling
dash panel
heel guards
front panel
side panels
Weather been nice so Ive been out every chance I get...
Stay Safe..

Creepy,
Black is a great color for the ZX14.
What performance changes do you notice now that you have the PC5 (who's map?), Ivans TRE, and full exhaust?
Engine cooler or smoother? Fuel mileage changes? Thanks.

Thx for the comments folks...
As far as the grips I picked them up at a bike shop close to home... They were pretty cheap and feel good when your riding the bike easy and on long trips... Ended up taking them back off cause theyre too spongey for me.. You dont feel the road thru them like you do the stockies/race type... So the stock ones are back on the bike.... If your still interested in them let me know and Ill get a brand name for you...
As far as performance theres a slight difference in the lowend and midend... Im using PC5 Map which can be downloaded from the website. I thru the software on one of my home pc's, brought the PC5 up here, updated the software and then programmed the PC5 with theyre map for Yoshi77 with K&N filter... The bike seems to breath/run better down low... Engine temps seem about the same and of course we have cooler temps now prior to the upgrade.. I havent pushed the bike to the upperlimits so I dont know if I lost some or gained some.. For me Im more interested in down low and keeping the bike smooth... I have a tech friend of mine who took the bike out for an hour and reported to me when he came back that he felt the bike pulled much harder than a stock 14... He works for bike dealership and rides some of the fastest bikes around so if he says it pulls pretty hard then Ill take his word...
As far as numbers I dont have anything as the bike wasnt dynoed... Def a small hit on fuel economy but nothing to write home about... So I can only report that it does feel more responsive/alittle louder/smoother down low and def alittle lighter with the stock cans off... As far as Ivans TRE I honestly cant tell that much difference.. I added the TRE after riding the bike for 24hours with the PC5 in... Im just not experienced enough with the 14/TRE to say if theres much of a difference... Like I said tho the bike doesnt putter anymore down low and maybe thats wear the TRE shines... For every postive is a neg they say... I gained something and most likely probably lost something, but for me I can live with it...
Overall Im happy with these upgrades as they made the bike more alive for me... The stock ZX14 is fast enough the only thing I felt was missing was alittle noise and some smoothness down low... Ill be keeping this one for awhile..
For those of you who are looking for parts check out cycle58 for the stuff your interested in as it did save me some cash...
Stay Safe...
Creeps...

Baby, You are not smooth yet. Buy a long shot you could of had a V8. If you are like me... Come first service, request you have your mechanic; message page 2-15 of the 14's factory service manual. Then, you'll know whatever you pig and poke on it or at it, your asshould know-shit < Sure Lock.

black. solid.nice.. I removed my stupid looking zx14 decals from my 10' also, alot of people dont know what they are looking at. wait till the douchebag asks if its a 750. you will have to smirk and say " how did ya guess? you must know bikes well". keep that shiny side shiny and upright
