Holy $hIt guys I put a 16 tooth front sproket on wednesday. I made a HUGE difference! Of coarse the bike just wants to stand up now, but I'm in the process of having a custom swing arm built as we speak. So that should take care of the wheelie problem. LOL But this mod was BY FAR the best "bang for the buck!!!"

Just remember when you put the extended swingarm on she will handle a lot differently. She will respond to throttle changes in the curves differently, and she will turn in slower and run wider under throttle.

I learned this all the hard way a long time ago. Heh.

Installing the 16 is like installing a 1/4 throttle. Now you need the throttle twist shortened.

41 rear or higher?

It's the stock rear sprocket. I think its a 43

The stock rear is 41.

Try a 43T rear if you want even more punch.

I think you should go with a 44t rear... I just so happen to have a brand new, never opened 44t Rental... $50 shipped.

I put a 16 tooth on the front of my busa and was a little disappointed....didn't get near what I was expecting. I do live at about 5000ft up tho. I did go up one tooth in back on the 14 and noticed a nice little improvement tho

I just had a 16 tooth put on the front of my 14, and I'm liking it a LOT. Altitude here is about 4500 ft. Sure would like to feel this thing at sea level someday! -bg

Sea level and the 14 is lots of fun I bought mine close to sea level and rode it back up. With the flies in at sea level, when they opened, it was like you lit a booster rocket up. Thrilling just barely describes it lol. You lose about 3% of your power for every 1000ft you go up.......and man do I feel it up here

16/45 here and lovin it haha.

Kinda sad that i've got to go "down" to a 16/43 for proper drag gearing..... *sigh*
