No. I wish. Good luck to you. Bolt on a $400 nitrous kit with small nozzles and remap. you'll make it for sure..

well, if you're sure you won't come home disappointed...

I'd be extremely happy with 190-something but if you do a small shot, there's no question except if your balls are big enough for 200+. I'd want to know what she does NA but if it's less than 200, spray away!

Streetsweeper. It is a closed event this year, not open to the public. It is on the airport so security is an issue. Riders/drivers have to sign everyone in and the number of guests are limited.. I can give you my number and I can put you on the list if you think you might show.

Rook, I just want to take the bike I ride on the street to its maximum..I might get nitrous one day for the drags but this is just to check full potential .............safely ... ;)

I like to have the facts available when I bench race . A timed course lets me do that . A speedometer on the street is just a guess.

Same thing I'd do. I probably will. My luck is running thin on the street and I have never come close to 200.

Chrly, I was signed up and all ready for the April MM but it rained and I bailed. Good luck!! Checkout gearing commander for tire/sprocket combo's that should get you over 200 depending on headwind.

Surprised nobody has mentioned the front fender. I heard folks swap that for the zx10 fender as the stocker really obtains lift at those speeds. Let me know how you do Chrly. I know I am geared for 213 but not sure I can get there stock. I will never go over quarter mile trap speed most likely but its nice to know what she will do.

Darkarcher, I have often heard of the ZX10 fender swap but never had it related to lift..I have a nice smooth Carbon Fibre replica bought from a member here.

Definitely use the gearing commander. 15/41 will only be good for 190 is you are using a 190/50 - 17 rear tire and 196 if you are using a 150/55 -17 tire.
I would recommend a 17 front sprocket and a 40 rear along with a 190/50-17 rear tire with that your geared for 215. minus 3% tire slip your at 209mph
Full exhaust, you have to have the computer done otherwise you'll never get over 186....lol
practice your tuck....have a friend photograph you from the front so you can see how you look...you should not be seen outside the fairing or above the windscreen.
Good luck

Personally I wouldn't touch NOS with a 500ft pole. With your setup and the 40t rear you should hit it easily. Mirrors? rear fender? bar ends? I have removed mine and will keep finding ways to reduce drag.

After hearing of the second fairing being lost and always looking at that button that holds the lower two halves together, I finally made up my mind to do something about it.. I made a small plate that fits on the backside and wraps around the button ( or whatever that fastener is called) , secured with two large head screws.. I am now confident that it will stay together..

I will be there running on Sunday with a 2014. I ran Mojave in April and got a best of 187.8mph. But I am 6'4" and 295lbs in street clothes. Guys under 200lbs were getting 197mph on mild mod ZX14R. Mine has exhaust, ECU flash, PCV and lowered. I am going with 40 shot of nitrous and race fuel for this trip. See you there, Matt Black and Orange ZX14R

I have a question for you 2014...
Did you have to put a catch bottle on the fuel overflow tube and radiator overflow that end at the back of the left ( clutch side) lower fairing ?

Will be looking for you Sunday ..

I did put a very small catch can but don't think tech even looked at it. No other ZX14 did anything and they passed tech.
