Got bored at work today so I decided to make a new accessory.
Bench top power station for the Woolich gear that's on its way.
Adjustable dc power supply, cooling fan and power point.
Ill use the power supply to feed some cameras in my garage next.

That is awesome dude! I made a bench power supply last winter out of an old PC power supply.

Thanks Hub.
I cant get net in my garage so ill run another phone line down after cracking the code on my ecu then mount the box in the garage.
The 12volt power supply is large enough to run a couple of cameras so ill use it for that also and install a pc recorder in the ceiling.
Im still pimping out the garage as we only bought the house 3 weeks ago.
Installed 4 ceiling light packs and couple of power points and television and stereo so far.
going to sort out speaker cable for surround sound also.
My wife still got boxes in the garage which doesn't help.
Also built loft storage and have the ceiling ready to line.

Hey, [YW] I'm just this side of mechanically inclined. You guys impress me with the shit you can do. So, I more struggle at it. I rather be the rider and you be the mechanics for me.
I know parts is parts, but you guys have a way with the EE parts. Nasty using that ceramic resistor and why is why I have no clue were to place it, will it mess up the next flow out and all that?
So to get a line? What? You mean, I have a laptop with the Wooly software, I can't take the lapper with me on the road, no access to the net, but everything is installed? I'm not worried about a power source waiting for the burn to finish either.
Don't tell me I'm tethered to the net for tuning? My thinking is the same as if I took the lapper in the woods and played pinball or solitaire. I don't need the net if the software is already loaded, correct?

Hey hub, a PC power supply will shut itself down if there is no load so I wired in a 10 watt sandbar on a load sense wire.

Thanks, nasty, but it's all hubbish to me. I need wire in and wire out kind of theory. WATT is with the 9v battery and one of them there 87-30 relays?
Are you telling me you are keeping the box alive with 1.1111 amp of bleed off from the 9v batt? Plug it in, the relay drops the 9v out of the loop?

Yeah. I originally built the PS for my ghetto blaster I made out of my old car stereo. The 9volt was used for the memory when ever I powered it down or unplugged it. I didn't think it through very well cause it didn't last long. I got an old rechargeable RC car batt I'm gonna use, when I get around to it.

Nasty you are the dude, that looks great, but can you get ahold to a lithium batt that would hold a charge longer in that situation to hold memory?
