The 14 is on pump gas, beemer on MR12. The last clip the 14 had let off well before he got to the guy on the side of the road. He is geared for the 1/4 so once he ran out of gear he'd let off. I was riding 2 up in the back observing. The guy who made the video also rides a beemer and seems to think he spanked the 14... thoughts?

I can definitely see gearing the 14 lower being a disadvantage. I'm amazed in 4th gear at WOT the speedometer is moving faster than the rpms are climbing. I can defintely see lower gearing killing this amazing blast of acceleration.

My 14R show of force!

The first race, the 14 got trounced. Something wrong there. He musta been a gear too high. Looked to me like the 14 accellerated a lot faster in the other races but ran out of wind early with the short gearing. No surprise. that's exactly what I'd expect to see happen. The gearing effects acceleration too profoundly. I think they need to compared with stock gearing and then you'd see a much closer race. Also riders of the same weight. The guy on the 14 is a jocky if he really is 175ish pounds.

It's not that the Bmw is faster, I geared my 14r racing a Bmw and the same thing happened to me, went back to stock gearing and killed him

yes but not from 90 mph, I think the bimmer. Probably the Gen4 ZX-10, too and maybe other liter bikes.

it's not going to do over 200 though. I think it would lose in a mile for sure.
