Quick tally and calc yeilds an average age of 44 years for owners of the ZX-14R.
Didn't look closely but got the feeling that the median was a bit higher.
Representation from teens to 60's; speaks well for the appeal and functional competency ranges of the bike.

By the way, Concours Owners Group went over 10,000 US members last month, and the 2012 National Rally in Eureka Springs Arkansas is booked solid already.
There will be at least 1,000 riders there.
This is unusual, as far as a single-marque club forming and being wildly successful. It happened for BMW, but not for a single model or even two models. It happened for Harley-Davidson, but not model-specific.
I think you will have a hard time forming a successful ZX14R club, because the ownership demographic (map) is far too sparse.
For example, Maryland is one of the least populated (dense) COG states, but I still send out 600 emails when I notify the tri-state region's members of an event coming up. The Northeast part of my Northeast Region has probably 1/3 the total membership.
Guys locally have a sportbike club, but it is hardly organized, and there isn't a single ZX14 in it. A bunch of ZX10Rs though.
Also, we have never that I know of successfully had a group buy which is a hallmark of a group of enthusiasts who could make the core of a club.
But maybe its good enough to just have it be a forum group, and leave it at that.

Black..................68 years young!
It sure would be awesome to have a ZX14 (any year) owner's club and annual get together. For example, I'm coming off a 2009 Hayabusa and will miss the annual week long "Busa Stampede" held each August in Reno, NV.. Daily rides in the Sierra Mountains and other events were enjoyed by riders coming in from as far as the east coast and more than one from Canada.
