Glad you are ok, your insurance should cover all that, if not, ebay for some of it, the brock is going to be hard to get cheap, some of the lower panels can be replaced separately from the fairing if the upper part didn't get scratched ...
Best of luck to you ....

Glad your ok, I bet they will total your bike. Buy it back and part it out. Get yourself a new one! Your buddies insurance company should cover the cost of all of your accessories since it wasn't your fault. Let us know how it goes.

Back in 2008 I hit some unseen sand and crashed my 2007 GSXR1000. It too sustained damage to the swingarm. The insurance adjuster started adding up all the parts cost and asked me if I wanted to go that way. I told him that since the swingarm was damaged, I could never ride this bike with confidence again. I talked him into "totaling" the bike and got a settlement that was very agreeable, so much so it almost paid for a new Hayabusa!
It can't be fixed to 'like new' status bro, get them to "total" it and move on.

Just got call from his insurance..
There assuming liability and will repair the bike if possible.. Aftermarket parts are covered!
Feeling a lil better now... Adjuster should be here Tuesday
Find your receipts. They covered my exhaust. I just ripped the bike apart to find the rest of the broken stuff that wasn't on the estimate. These blue parts are going to be getting scarce. At least you have a sample now to get the powdercoat matched.

Glad you're okay
Some good news; Brock can repair your pipe as he recently started refurbishing their damage pipes (mine was the very first one they done)
I had mine fixed when I took a spill backing off a trailer
They repaired mine for less than half the cost of a new pipe
Maybe look into that, and keep your chin up!!!

If I can do it myself I will tho.. But idk how this stuff works yet.. ??
I didn't either. If you have a decent feel for materials and tools and the time, you can do it. DOn't overtighten. Use a torque wrench ask a lot of questions. TAKE YOUR TIME. I can almost guarantee you will do better work that most shops.

Not to mention that money goes back into the bike.
They allowed you to tell them what else was damaged and paid for it?? I hope I can get that but I highly doubt it...
They give you a rough estimate to get you into the shop. Then all of the additional stuff is logged or you call the estimator out again.
What they cant see is the broken stuff under the fairings. He quoted me 1 head light and a mirror stay. The other headlight housing is broke, the stay is fine, but both mirrors are rashed. They aren't bike estimators so they miss all of the pads and stuff that are glued to the back of the fairings. Those are all separate parts.

It's your bike, you do what you want with it. If it is financed. The insurance company will write the check in your and the banks name if you decide to do the work. If you take it to the dealer they write the check in your and the shops name. They put the banks name on the check so you don't just take the money and not fix the bike and stop paying. You would have to front the money to get the parts to fix the bike so the bank would ok the repairs and sign the check.
My estimate was for $5260.41. I've found another $750 in parts. So things may change. The only two pieces that weren't messed up were the tank and tank cover. The only thing that changes from the dealer to you doing it is the estimated hourly rate. My estimator was a good guy, he told me just let him know what extra parts needed to be replaced, keep the receipt and the part for him to verify. Any auto body place can do the work as well. Just needs to be a certified collision center. Depending on how well you know the shop, You'd get a better "deal" doing it that way, than going through the dealer. If mine gets totaled out, I'm buying mine back and fixing it.
You definitely need to strip the bike down to make sure the frame isn't cracked where the swing arm mounts. Is the rear rim bent at all? You can definitely get the dent out of the right muffler.

Several years ago I had a ZX9 that the was valued at 10k....damage was 7k so the insurance company totaled it. I spoke to the insurance company and was able to buy the bike from them for $3k as is. Cost me another 3k in parts and labor but it was as new when finished....and I came out several thousand to the good....might be worth looking in to.

+1
The swingarm is dead for sure. The weldments adjacent to the pivot need close scrutiny. Dye penetrant if it were me.

$104/hr? I need to go in business.
I got adjuster coming back out after getting the bike stripped down. Its too much to put on the supplement list. I don't know where the red line is either blackpearl. I'm at $5200 not including the stuff below. On a good note they are covering the full cost of all of my gear.
Additional parts:
Left headlight
Headlight bracket
2 sets oh hid bulbs
Both mirrors
Both ram air covers and associated pads
Left front turn signal
Both rear turn signal lenses
Both sets of inner plastics that go on the inside of the side fairings and associated pads
Not sure if Brock just sells midpipes, need price on two of those.

After stripping the bike down and inspecting all of the parts, and getting correct pricing from Brocks for replacement parts I've found a total of $2000 of parts that were not included in the original estimate. There's an additional $373.87 worth of parts that are a maybe, mainly fasteners and brackets and shit. Wont know until I put it back together. He told me he was quoting enough to get the bike into the shop to be broken down, so i really cant blame him, plus he was clueless about motorcycles.
Original estimate
Parts: 4603.47
Labor: 6.8hrs $46hr - $312.80
Tax: $344.14
Total: $5260.41
My looksee
Parts: $6601.00 ($373.87 not included)
Labor: $750 (Rate should be at least $90. Added 1.5 hours)
Tax: 514.57
Total: $7865.57
