Guys I don't want to beat the already dead horse here again. I've read many of the posts where this seemingly exact same issue has been asked before and I think I've tried most of the suggested info. I just got my girl back from the local shop where she got some new tires, speedo healer, and a pc3 installed. After picking her up this morning I noticed that there is now a very, very, noticeable/annoying stumble, pop and surge, and/or hesitation at steady, and also letting off throttle from 4000 rpm down. Seems fine everywhere else and there were no issues before install with current set-up. I simply got a great deal on a new PC3 and thought it would be a good idea to go along with the after market slips. Anyway, I noticed that they put the m4 slip-ons and stock or aftermarket a/f map in. She has new plugs, new air filter, idles perfectly at 1100-50, I reset the TP as per the instructions I read on here, I ran a tank with fuel injection cleaner through, I couldn't find anything else close so now have the stock one installed. The stock map is a bit better but the issue still persists. I bought the bike used from a dealer out of Wisconsin and had it shipped, so I do not know if the flies were removed and am not technically skilled enough to find out.
So here are my questions:
1. Does anyone have a custom map they think might work better? I'm not asking for a free-be just a fair deal if it works.
2. I noticed that the dyno site has a pc5 map for an 06-07 for my exact set-up. Is there a way to use that w/ an 08 and a pc3? Again, if someone can configure that for me, I'm willing to pay if it works.
3. Have I missed anything else that might cause the problem?
4. Is this just normal without having it actually dyno tuned?
5. Will it hurt anything running this way?
I'm at work right now but will try to respond timely to any replies.
Thanks.
