I was looking in the for sale section and noticed that member mrwoo had a 13 White ABS for sale. I was wondering if the white 2013 ZX14R is rare with ABS. I think I read on here (this forum) that is was. I have a 2013 non ABS White ZX14R. I bought a wrecked ABS unit and stole the complete wiring harness/ABS pump, Calipers, etc. and made myself a ABS bike. I originally looked all over for a 2013 White ABS to buy but found none. Does anyone have any information on 2013 White ABS vs non ABS units?

it took me awhile till I found the one I wanted down in Florida .there were 2 of them down there white with abs but I couldn't find any near me , I got a left over 13 and got a great deal, cant say how rare it is but I've only seen a green abs and a blk abs around my neck of the woods , , this is my girl

People thought only '13 SEs had ABS because that's how Kaw listed them on their site... non-SE's as non-ABS and SE as ABS. Even here people argued with me here that my bike had ABS because it's a '13 SE... it took quite a bit of effort to convince them it doesn't. I think one even persisted even after other's were convinced that my bike MUST HAVE ABS!!!

ABS could be had on any color of '13 model. As far as rarity, not really sure how Kaw decided. Seems to me about equal generally with certain colors equipped with abs or not.

hey VicThing i see your from Fortwayne i was just there at the kaw dealership next to the harley dealership , they had a orange and blk zx 14 there that was sweet , and a good price i thought ,

There's one larger dealer, Elderhlings or whatever, which is normally full MSRP + fees. Might've been them, but rarely would I think someone would find a good price there. There's a few smaller cycle shops around makes it hard to keep track of anymore.

Does anyone have a pic of the bike where the ABS sticker is located? Or is there sticker?

BUN, I was just in Ehlerdings last week and was looking at the Orange ZX, it is beautiful!!! They also have one of the red anniversary specials in stock, it was also beautiful!!!

As soon as the new H2 is released they have two on order, one of the new owners plans on leaving his bike there until the weather improves. Might be a while!!!

When i purchased my bike it was the only white abs out of 5 dealers. There was 2 other white ones but non abs. Mine was a leftover as all the zx14r around here are. They don't sell well. But don't expect to get a killer deal, because you won't.

,other then the sticker on the front fender im not sure how one could tell if its a abs model without calling Kawasaki,

I have only see one white in the wild and none on showroom floors. But now that I think about it, other then blacks and greens, I haven't seem much of any other color, but white by far the least.

Besides the sticker, I *think* there is a physical 'module'? if you follow the brake lines from the handle bars towards the front tire.

Don't beat me up if I am wrong, trying to recall other conversations I have had with other in regards to brake line length as it seemed ABS bikes had longer front lines. This came up when I was adding spaces to my bars... Had to get new lines... so went with Spiegel lines :D

I can sure feel that abs. Sometimes very annoying, other time saved from those ohh shit moments.

I got a 13 SE black/green NON ABS,.

..I would only take ABS if I'm forced....the Kawi systems are pretty good, don't interfere all that much, but I don't have much riding time on Kawi ABS

I ended up with a green one because my dealer couldn't scrounge up a white ABS model. I could have gotten a white w/o ABS, but ABS was more important than color. I like the green one just as much, anyway (and I hear green is faster ).

White Non ABS here. They are rare.

I commute in the SF Bay Area and have not seen another White ZX14r ABS. Hell, I haven't seen another ZX14r at all. They aren't very popular around here.
