Stealth appropriatenesssss

Another SoCAl newbie here. Glad to find you, I'm, in Long Beach. Posted this under performance somewhere, would appreciate the help.
What I look for is less loudness, less flash, fewer decals, LESS WEIGHT, more form and function appeal.
Life is short, and enjoyment is perfunctory.
Hub, (and any others in-the-know)
you seem to know a helluva lot about exhausts, tuning, etc, so perhaps you can initiate me as to my criteria:
getting a slightly used 2007 zx-14, saff blue, was dumped on left side. I hate big pipes, (cans) want either Muzzy or R77, but:
4-2-1, min. hardware, less weight, keep it low (NOT big wide shiny tubes with huge graphics, keep lean clearances intact, stock lower fairing, AND ---no increase in dB levels. Not out to impress anyone but myself. What should I use, the Titanium GP version remember, low sound level is important. Small, low is less weight, but too loud?
2. I'm big, 6'-4' 260 lbs, aftermarket lower footpegs?
a. New CF fairing (higher?) need to replace old one anyway...
3. mirrors, go with stock or (my size) would leave me looking at my arms? Longer mirror arms? function important for better view
4. Paint job. No, I hate the shiny blue, hate flashiness, love a quiet stealth. Thinking carbon fiber nat. finish fairing (higher bubble rise) matched w/a matte black rat rod dull finish elsewhere (EVERYWHERE)

Where to look for parts? Where aftermarket fairings?(Higher center bulb) What manufacturer has the smallest, low pipes with least noise? Obviously expect some performance increase. Yes, I too prefer stock. May add a bold (clear translucent) horizontal flourescent stripe
for safety, slightly changing the paint gloss texture, but same black for side illumination at night. Ton of ideas, appearance-wise, need some direction -where to go? Ideas?
Previous bikes Harley '98, Honda '76 goldwing (no fairing) BMWs, GS1000, GS1150, GS1250PD Adventure,

CAR Example: 28 yrs ago bought a '79 Pontiac T/A 6.6 with all the trimmings, blueprinted engine, removed all the decals, names, tags, anything chromed, the screaming eagles, gold pinstripes, flashy wheelwell spoilers, removed rear spoiler, (added two underchassis spoilers for ground effect, barely visible) 105 oct aircraft fuel due to added compression, operable hoodscoop, Edelbrock manif., Hookers to 2.5" straight out sides, Holley, manual 5sp., dual dry clutch, helical ground gears, tighter posi, lowered, bilsteins, NOX, and black out light/brake switch, radar emitter, you get the idea, gobs of dark rumblin growl
Boston to Miami in 20 hrs. short dr 2 dr., Black as hell and sweet as the devil. Scared me at 181mph at Daytona trials. loose up front. Eventually, IT took a chopper to catch us @ Macon GA one moonlit night... thing got a bit out of hand, was prepping for cannonball, BUT true 5.5 mpg, and cops just followed me for fun in daytime. Yup, grew out of that, but those looks lingered. Now to the zx... not about speed, but stealth too.
When you stop laughing, let me know, thx

Welcome parker,

CAR: I just want to let you know that the Pontiac line is no longer. That made any Pontiac just about a collector model and that T/A fits the bill. But with all the badges gone, that is just a parts car. If you threw away the emblems, they must be worth some bucks now... So much for stealth for the other person and your look of the ride.

I just like you on the stealth. But I can put mine back together all stock. And stock demands a higher price than a stripper or some custom you made. I do not expect my bike to sell as is. I will get top dollar if the T/A tags are in place. Just saying stealth is fine but up to a point. So before you go hog wild with the emblem ripping, try to salvage the parts. Down the road, I bet you wished you saved the car emblems.

1. With your weight, you might want to get a soft sound and keep the bottom torque in place. You will have to get the members to chime in on the quietest pipe going.

2. I removed the rubbers off my stock foot pegs. The Buell type foot pegs are not that much lower. It might help for you, it might not. It did not for me. I tolerate it. We are tall chaps, so the comfort zone has to be found.
A. Watch out for taller fairings. The wind will play havoc on some bikes.

3. Yep, machine some blocks with longer 6mm bolts and that will cure the, "spyz/elbow'effect" on arm fling. I use round convex mirrors at the outer edges. Try that for a quick fix and an enhancement to the extended blocks.

4. Sounds like a plan. I like a black stealth look. Ferrari is half the car with that carbon fiber mat finish.

Other than that bubble replacement fairing making some funny fast buffeting, you might want to open another thread or have the other members chime in on the quiet lower torque type exhaust. We are big guys and that lower grunt is a must. There are some knock-off fairing parts coming out from the east, so if you want to change the color scheme without ruining the stock parts, that is one way of chasing the newer paint job. I see no reason to use the stock body parts/tank and have someone match your ideal color for your 14. It's all personal influence anyway, so go for it!

Thx hub,
I agree bottom torque issue very important.
due to crash I was going to replace front fairing with the new, matte black color option of the 2009 version. Any probs with that? Aren't they EXACTLY the same for '07 to 09?
Heard the GP14 Muzzy's, too loud, and remapping req'd.
No slip ons 2:1 available that DON't NEED retuning? I just hate the look of large rear Flash Gordon mass...
Best prices on new fairings, even carbon twill stuff?

Car: The T/A was sold many many years ago. All gone. New owner wrecked it within a year in J'ville FL.

parker,

I think the plastic has just changed colors, not the mold. So my guess is everything fits back up on either frame.

Exhaust noise is more a question to ask who has a quiet pipe?
