Blind Hole Bearing Puller
03/04/10 4:48 PM

Quick Question: Hub when your changing wheel bearings are you using a blind hole puller or do you just use a drift. I was debating buying a puller but not sure if it's worth the money. I have been using a piece of key stock(primitive I know)works but I feel like a butcher when I'm doing it lol. I am wondering what is your preferred method is and who makes the best blind hole puller. Any info would be great. Cheers.

Thanks Hub, With these Marchesini Rims the center spacer has no movement and I can't catch a edge. A small rolled edge on the spacer would have been nice.(f..kers) Sorry slipped out.

Hub this set was 169.97. Worth every penny. Not a snap-on but a copy. Made me look like a star. When installing the new bearings the use of the outer race of the old bearing helps in the installation of the new bearing, but as you know the old bearing also gets stuck. With this little Gem, it now only takes seconds to pull the old bearing back out again. Yaaaa. The sir clips go in easy with no fuss which helps to let you know the new bearing is seated properly, AWESOME. I feel like Fred Flintstone and I have just discovered the match. No shit, 5 bearings 20 min. The funny part is I think the old bearings did not get damaged. The pressure is equal all the way around the bearing, so when pulling..... so maybe OK?(you first) Anyway these rims are getting way to expensive. I hope they do tricks. Starting to think Beemer would have been the right choice, Again. The prob is I love my big comfy couch. And she loves me.
