True, but so was the current 14 and it was rated at 200 crank hp. New, 210hp really ?

7-10 Hp increase increase in crank hp for 15-16 thousand ? Ya, I Want more. I still believe #'s to be false. Maybe like BMW, 1000 Kilo in and wake up in ECU. Something. Going to be Awesome of that there is no doubt.

I'm still all in but in no Hurry Now.

EXACTLY how I feel... But how quick you gonna get one if an ECU flash nets similar results as the 2011 10r?...

I know I'll have to change my handle to SpeedyZX. lol

lol, you'll have 2. It may be why Brock is saying he expects to gain only about 5 hp with his system, the 14 R could be just like the Beemer and the 10R, and gain 20/30 hp via an ecu reflash. In France, they have an 100 hp limit on all bikes, I have seen a tester install a piggy and go from 100 to 180 hp. It's gotta be a nice feeling. In the near future you're going to have to be a good "hacker" if you wanna be a respected tuner. Remember, Brocks had to ask for outside help to hack the 10R. Pipe makers are going down. I'm not paying $1800 for sound only!

My guess is 180/185 hp stock, 15/20 hp gain after reflash, 5/10 gain with Brock's pipe. I can see the new 14R being labeled as the only 200 hp production bike. Furthermore, 20 more hp will certainly make me wanna get it but at the same time I won't look at my 170hp 06 like it's an antiquity.

Hey Romes...I'm thinkin they REALLY did something good about those cans.It would not surprise me if they shed a bunch of weight with that design.I know it LOOKS beefy...ya...but this was a BIG complaint about the previous versions...those cannons.Lots of lighter materials out there other than Stainless Steel. Also looks to me like they made the 'muffler' insides accessible. There's some screws at the cone tip there.Maybe they allow taking "some stuff" out?IDK.

Maybe get a shorai?I'm considering it.Maybe.

Pipes...ya...I most likely will get some light ones on there also.

MAYBE...some front discs as well...lighten that all up a tad.Have to see what their NEW rotor design is about.Supposed to be better(weightwise and performance wise). The wheels are already built lighter....I think the handling is gonna really surprise a lot of people who are used to the 'big bike' feel of the Ninja.Pleasantly surprised.Me for one!!!

Kind of irritating actually, and starting to wonder why Kawasaki is rolling out like they are. The suspicious part of me is saying get all the pre-orders done and signed for before all the Performance figures are released... This way people are "bound" by contract...

I don't think so.I think most guys gettin this new bike have already decided to have it.Regardless of the numbers.I know for me...I don't really care that much about the top figures or whatever. It's gonna be better than the previous ones by a long shot. You can only do top end runs and high speed blasting in so many places. We already know she's the Queen of the road, and strip right now stock.Gonna be FUN!!!

That just takes aggressive gearing, Hub... 16/44 swb... WEEEEEEEEE!

The 14r is coming 17/42 (+1), but has a much closer ratio trany... one guy on BL did the math, and the 14r should top out (stock gearing) @ 186mph... in other words, no need for an electronic TSL... that would/will be SWEET!... pass the lube. lol

Dogo, No look, you don't understand. I want mother teapot to dog my dogs LOL. I don't need to buy parts. I just pull her outta the crate, wet her, bed her gently. She should have a loose hole and a sagging you tear wrist by the time I'm done pushing my meat inn and out... Wait a minute... Wait a minute... I forgot what I was riding.

I should apply the throttle to two bikes. I should pin one bike from one phone pole to the next kind of distance I need. I should be there by the time the cars hit the gas pedal, or click the phones off, whichever comes first:

rr: ---------------- 93 ------------------]186 To second pole distance.
R': _________________________________]186 My distance should be here I start from A.

One thing I know; that (R) engine is going to leave hard. The rr will take rev time to get to 186 and then be in that peak to leave the others. Call this the peak 186 or 4 bars shorter to get there with the R. WOT I won't be impressed [if this is this scenario:

rr: ---------------------------------------[186 Ends here, or this being the same limiter hit, time wise.
R': _______________________]186 Beats it by this much. Or, by 1 bar's length. Samentality with both bikes coming out with 1 HP diff between the busa and ZX.

Hmmm... I've bought vehicles/bikes before on pre-orders and never HAD to commit until I was ready to take delivery... plenty of time to back out if find something out that you don't like...
