Pipes...ya...I most likely will get some light ones on there also.
MAYBE...some front discs as well...lighten that all up a tad.Have to see what their NEW rotor design is about.Supposed to be better(weightwise and performance wise). The wheels are already built lighter...
Already bought Rotors, battery,,,,, Pipe, Equals, Not This Time. Going to Boost it. Save me 2 grand on pipes ? New motor beggggggggging for 8lbs And who am I to say no ? All that's missing is New Bike

I know this is meguyveerant, but have I a question for you? How are you going to set the tone wheel back on the one afmk disc? That means X is the drill it square peg to the same circle, meaning, no wha-wha, but nuts on, machined/tapped/bolt it back on the afmk disc. To get Y out of the way, who is thicker/thinner on the brake carrier? That says; Y is the air gap. Are we back to code breaker compliant using aftmkt?
Oh shit, I forgot!

I started it. My sister is tight with one of my old girlfriends I brought home from college. You know, 'Look who's coming over for dinner." She's always over for thanksgiving with her daughter. Family parties, that stuff. I know they badmouth me when they get together. She still looks hot. Kind of added weight like the rest of us. She's like the 14. Love'm and leave'm like every bike and beach I ever took a ride on.

You don't need a shop manual. Just get the original air gap. Buy a brass feeler gauge pack. This way, you do not have that steel in the [/] locked position by the magnet. This throws off the measurement. Yeah, it can be done with the steels. Be accurate is all.
http://www.excelbuyonline.com/products-large/AG-AP-1oz-FE.gif There you go! It is what it is. Amazing what you can do with this workable guy. Gotta:
X = Is the gap.
Y = Is the ring in perfect circle to tone in the hall effect. No egg shaped setting. Can't let it float off center.
Z = Is the ground. Gotta gap it close and if that lifts off the disc? And if that pushed too far into the tone wheel, into the magnet? ~ No tone!
Too free and easy, no damage to the oem. No damage to the aftmk. No machining needed! = Win Win SIT You get it?!
Edit: Even gluing a steel ground strap first on the underside, you let that dry. Once flipped over, that ribbon drops on the disc = Grounded!
Next mod! Got this covered over and done with.

Oh man, and what about a different brake disc screw pattern all together for that tone wheel setup?
X is the disc thickness keeping away from the fork boss? Do we cast a new fork leg to accommodate a [ < Guide slot for the pickup block? How do we attach the magnetic block to the fork leg? Off the fender brace? Fork was never needed a recast? Too much going on again. Wait till the show and take measurements.
Y is the hole pattern. Gotta hope you see the same 4 at the same distance. At least that is out of the way?? Sweat bullets now or relax? Forget this plan till the show, or one shows up at the dealer floor.

Thursday was a great day. We had the opportunity to put the new 2012 Zx-14 on the Dyno and do some testing of the oil that we use for Lucas.Stock out of the crate, the bike gave a great performance! To set the scene, we are at 212ft of Alt, density was 2019, baro 29.82, and the humidity was at 41%, 75 degrees out. Since the ZX-14 we tested had about 52 miles on it, when we made the first pull, we decided to take it out and put a few highway miles on it, and brought it back with about 120. We had the bike filled with 91 octane pump gas since most street riders would use this.
The 1st pull was 182 hp, at 108 ft lbs of torque. The next 3 were at 187, which was really impressive. Then we did an all gear pull. The bike went to 190hp with 111 ft lbs of torque. This was done on a dynojet model 200 dyno. Our tuner did a great job setting it up and we know that dynos are different and get different readings. Needless to say, we can't wait to really get a hold of one of these and do what we do!! This motorcycle is Awesome!!

Yeah, I'm happy about the new one also - biding my time until one sits next to the 2010 in my garage...
I still have my '00 Triumph Speed Triple, but sold my '14 back in June. I'm looking hard at this one, but the insurance is just so damn steep.
Thanks for posting the info seno.
