Ya...I know....nothing special though.Just a screen with a small lip angling up about 1/2 inch or so.Looks just like factory if ya didn't know what it really was.Haven't been able yet to get out for a romp with it...but it seems like it'll be very nice as far as moving the flow a bit up...which really with me is not an issue at all.I mainly wanted it because it doesn't have those two cuts in it...and still has that small angle.Looks just like that one on the Kawasaki 'accessory' page...without the holes.
Also installed the Project D rad guard.Excellent fit and finish.Black.You will have to remove the two 'rubber' 'bumpers' on the top of the radiator...at the outside edges to get the guard to slip over the lip of the radiator on top...but no big deal. Not sure why those were on there to start with...but not really necessary to reinstall.Maybe they're to protect the mechanic's hands when he's replacing the radiator or something. They slip right off. There's a lip running along the top of the rad which I guess you "could" slice yerself on if ya weren't aware it was there.

I have an MRA w/Vario spoiler (and vents) and the screen itself it almost exactly the same profile and size as the stocker. thinking seriously about a ZGST with a Vario spoiler added on.

The profile of the Powerbronze screen looks a lot like that of the Puig Double Bubble.

Rode around 100 miles today with the stock windscreen. I'd have to classify it as a gauge protector because it does nothing to deflect the windblast. Never got it over 110 because it felt like it was trying to rip my helmet off, even when laying on the tank bag. Can't wait for the ZGST to get here.

Just installed the Zero Gravity Sport Touring screen on my '07. I'm not sure how I feel about the look yet. I haven't taken the bike out sice I installed it but I have a 900 miler coming up this weekend that I'll be able to get a more accurate idea of how it works for me. What are all of your thoughts on the look verses the function of the ZG ST screen?

Anything's gotta be better than the stock item. I don't see how anyone can hold on over 80 mph with that thing.

Danno...c'mon...you ride...been over a ton plenty. That stocker isn't too bad...least mine works fine. And I've tried a bunch.Windflow catches me just on the upper part of my lid....no prob.Course,I have been accused here of 'being different'...something like that

Might have something to do with being 6'3" and having altered the riding position with a bar kit and a gel seat pad. I am probably a bit more up in the breeze than your average-height rider with the stock bars and seat. If the ZGST ain't enough, I just might add an extension to it. I'd rather be comfortable than look cool. Nobody's gonna get a good look anyway, unless it's parked.

I'm pretty sure someone here installed that Vario deal onto their ZG Touring Screen.I think it CAN be done. You might find though that that ZG screen is really all ya need.I hope so bro!Gotta give us a write up after ya get er done and go ridin...course...you KNEW that, right?
"

Personally...I think you're gonna really like it.I did.I pretty much removed mine cause I felt a sportier feeling with a shorter screen. But it couldn't be beat for redirecting that windflow over my lid and all.Very nice.Tucking in was even MORE smooth.Course,ya can't ride tucked in everywhere ya go(can ya?)Plus...I was doing a lot of triple digit speeds at that time...it did have an affect on handling...just a smidgen if the speeds were right and all.Nothing bad mind you...but....I could feel a tad bit of what shall I call it....'lag'?Like when inputting for curves at speed.I had to do my inputs a bit sooner, and make sure she wasn't getting off line.Probably no one would ever notice that...but I did.It was there. At certain speed levels.Regular 'sane' speeds...you probably won't feel any difference in the handling dept.Plus you've got those wider bars on there....yer leverage is gonna be 'better' for that screen configuration.

Have a blast...take lots of pics if ya can! You'll like your screen....I know when I had mine on there....I kept thinking everytime I looked at the bike from a distance sitting there proud as a peacock...it always reminded me of that Monitor Lizard in "Mysterious Island"(maybe it was "1 Million Years BC")...the one with the bigazz neck flare deal(Hollywood..gotta love it)....funny as shit!Kinda gave mine a real "Oriental" type look to it .The dark ones are even MORE visible.

Might be an issue at night or something....probably be just fine in the daylight. But I see what ya mean....aw...you'll figure it out no sweat.I went with clear myself...so the screen lip wasn't really a vision deal for me anyway.Guess you could just corner harder and get over the side there a tad more
How about etching a gunsight into the inside surface of yer screen.There...line er up and rock and roll my man!!Keep that sucker lined up between those painted lines and such ya know?....voila!Be like ridin on rails .BULLSEYE every corner!!!Be kinda like "TopGun" for reals.Have fun man...enjoy that ride..come back safe now!!
Seems to me you have TWO choices here.Stay partially tucked...and travel at your ship's warp speed.OR....sit bolt upright and...well....you know....hang out with the Harley guys(at appreciably LESS than yer ship's warp factor )Your call...what'l it be cowboy? ( I KNOW you want to ENJOY that ride)....
