So I got back earlier this afternoon from my weekend ride. Went down through Monongahela National Forest in WV. It was originally planned out to be close to a 900 miler but my dad winded up coming along and we shortened it up. Still did 500 which was enough for me to decide that I absolutely love the ZG ST screen. It helps so much with wind blast and creating a nice pocket for the rider. I was also able to try out my LSL kit for the first longer distance ride and I must say that I'm pleased with that as well. Very nice to be more upright now. The other mod that I was able to try out was the Spencer seat mod. I think it's way better than stock. After about 7 hours of riding I was still sore but I feel like that's going to be with any seat. We took a ten or fifteen minute break about every hour or so and tht seemed to help a lot. I snapped a few pics from the trip that I'll try to post tomorrow. Final verdict: the screen stays!

Got the ZGST on this afternoon and it's a world of difference. Lifted the windblast up from mid-chest height to the bottom of the helmet when sitting bolt upright and it's no longer trying to tear my helmet off or blow me back over the tail fairing at triple digits. I may add an adjustable spoiler, but this is much more comfortable.

Yo Danno...there IS one more mod you can get...you may very well love it.It's a helmet 'seal'.I have one somewhere here.Neoprene with some sort of 'rubber' material around the 'contact' edge of it.Can't remeber the name right off,but it 'sticks' to the bottom edge..like 1 inch up,and seals the bell of the helmet off.Not uncomfortably either. It'll block noise and wind flow from coming up underneath.Very nice little accessory. This is it....The review is on webbikeworld.com.

Don't let the pic put ya off...when it's on there...it looks just like part of the helmet....can't really tell it's there unless you KNOW it's there.Very discreet.

I have the NOJ Quiet Rider Deluxe. I had the one like in the pic before and the neoprene wetsuit material tends to tear under the chin over time. The Deluxe is a cloth-and-velcro unit with a venting zipper in the front and it came with a cold-weather bandanna to match.

Now I'm gonna fab up a different radar detector mount since there's some space under the new windscreen. Anybody wanna buy a handlebar mount for a radar detector?

I ended up going with a Puig double bubble for track days as the stock one was worthless at 150 and beyond.
The Puig is good for summer months with stacked risers but the ZG is the bomb in cooler weather.
I dont care for the buffeting I get with the ZG though in freeway traffic and windy conditions so take it off in warmer weather(Its more like a pushing feeling on my torso.) Perhaps it will lessen once I put on the bar kit.

Penske shock. GP North forks
Custom Leather seat
And too many other mods.
Track Bike morphing into a sporttourer
ZG touring screen, risers, Buell pegs, etc.

And a couple of other Kawi's

Did a 1300-mile extended weekender to Arkansas last weekend and the verdict on the ZGST is; I STILL NEED MORE WIND PROTECTION! So I'm thinking of adding an MRA adjustable extender to see if it will cut the breeze just a little more.

Most of my Arkansas pics tend to look the same year after year, so I swiped a few that I am actually in.
