I have yet to exploit the upper end of the speedometer yet. The vmax feels the most visceral and explosive probably due to not having a fairing. The S1000rr is sponge down low until about 7k and buzzy...when the power comes on its explosive like a shot of nitrous. The Ducati monster is just an animal and is always trying to kill u. You fight to keep the wheel down yet the handling and ride is awesome. The BMW honestly doesn't do it for me. The suspension really isn't meant for someone of my weight so it's harsh. It's a track bike and really not very fun on the street. The Busa I hate to say is in no shape or form any comparison to the 14. The comfort is bad and handles poorly in IMHO as for the power go tell all your friends who talk about them there's a new king in town. The brakes are much better on the 14 and it feels much torquier and explosive in any gear. The Z1000 bikes are a blast to rip around on. They are geared low and have good grunt and have exceptional fueling like all kawasaki bikes I own. Brakes are strong and the bike is sure footed and comfortable. Th hardley's ..jk are cool to when u want to relax with the ladies and actually see the scenery in slow motion. They don't have problems in my experience like everyone says. The concours is kinda like riding a camel with the center of gravity yet it's comfortable and quick with decent handling. The k1300s I enjoy more then the S1000 due to th fact it has better road manners in terms of comfort and useable power. It actually feels quicker then my Busa to 120. The Vfr is an easy bike to ride with a nice seat ..great brakes but terrible lean angle for a supposed sport tourer...also there is a flat spot in the fueling. That reminds me bmw bike IMHO have quarks in there fueling they constantly have campaigns to update issues. The 1198 in my opinion gives awesome road feedback and has a lot of character. Some people love it and some don't if you ever get a chance to ride a duc you will know what I'm talking about. Nthe paint in them is thin and the plastic is cheap feeling. The mirrors are also worthless and cheap. I also had a k1300gt that was a sporty comfortable bike yet again the fueling is an issue kinda abrupt with some flat spots. If I were to pick one bike I couldn't they all have a time and place. The 14 I feel is safe to say will beat any of the hyper bikes with ease in terms of outright speed and comfort with excellent fit and finish. The S1000rr is fast but I really don't think it would beat a 14. I have run all my bikes against each other with the exception of the 14. Suzuki makes great motors but are losing the bike wars in terms of evolution. Also Kawasaki and Honda bikes have the best paint and hardest clear coats giving a slight edge to Kawasaki in the past few years. I hope I answered your question. I have had many other bikes also and this I my 2nd 14 I bought a 2006 but really didn't like the ergos and felt it lacked the grunt of big bore bikes even when flies out. It had a big hit up top where as the new 14 is much more linear and less dramatic when accelerating.

It's a gt500 Shelby with a kenne belle 2.8 LC with headers back big injectors full suspension mods. I put it together and tuned it with the help of a sct master tuner and close friend. The nova has 1 run on it and went 8.38 @169. It's a 7.50 certified car. It's kinda just for car shows but is a real street legal racecar.

I remember the gpz 750 turbo. That thing had balls when modded but had bicycle tires. What a death machine that was. It was like riding a bicycle with a small block motor.

RE: zx14r riders post all the bikes you have owned

I started riding at about age 9 on a 60's or 70's Honda SL100. I rode it for about 2 years, until my stepbrother crashed it. Then I just rode friends/family's bikes until 09, when I bought a dual sport 650. Actually dad and I bought matching ones. We thought it would be a good compromise between street/highway/off-road. I started riding it and quickly realized it was too tall for me on anything but flat ground (nearly dumped it a few times on trails, and I'm 6'2!). It was also too light to go on the highway, and an 18 wheeler nearly blew me off the road. A couple months later, dad bought a Honda VTX 1800,and the difference was astounding. I sold my dual-sport a few months later. I have been a fan of sportbikes for a very long time, and have wanted one since I was 16. I am a pretty big guy (6'2/about 325) so I figured I would look ridiculous on even a 1000. So that left the Busa and the 14. I wanted to try one out to know if that was the bike for me, but no one I knew had one that I could ride. Last month, I went to the Kawasaki Demo Day and finally had a chance to ride the 14, my first sportbike. WOW!!! What a nice ride! After week and a little negotiating, I finally pulled the trigger on my '12 ZX-14R. I am absolutely pleased with my choice. It has more power than I'll ever come close to using, it's smooth, comfortable, and fantastic to look at. My dad was a little anxious about me buying this, but after he rode it the first time, he understands (now he wants one, and asks all the time to ride mine)

Old school Back in the day OH no.It wasn't my fault tires sucked, brakes sucked and Kawasaki only could make engines.H-1 H-2 Z-1 you get the idea. These young guys don't know how good they they have it.I'm lucky to be alive riding that old junk.Yeah I guess I'm old school. But you can teach an old dog new tricks.

I am a little soft in dirt. When a kid taught me to ride on a 60cc Yahmaha Mini-Endoro I was hooked.I was 16 and had a license and he didn't.Two other friends had a Rupp Blackwidow and a Kawasaki 100 Bushmaster. When I saved my money I bought a 72 Honda CL-100 from a teacher for $400.I heard this 1973 Z-1 coming out of McDonalds. The friend who taught me to ride said that sounds like a sewing machine. That sewing machine ate the two Trimumps for lunch.I swore I'd own one.Two years later I bought a brand new 1975 Z-1B.I was done in the dirt.
