HHmmmmm....."new tires put on"....okay.Here's something you can try to just rule this possible out.REMOVE your rear wheel weights.Try that.See what happens.I know...sounds dumb...but....
Do you have a rear stand?Put er up on there and make sure EVERYTHING is where it's supposed to be...spacers,chain run, rear caliper mount bolts.Spin the tire. You didn't MAYBE(another dumb question here)have your toe on the rear brake pedal possibly and didn't notice it?Stranger things have happened .Axle lined up right?Chain well lubed and free running?
I've noticed SOMETIMES....my bike has displayed a symptom of something...after I've done something with it or whatever...and the "symptom" will be completely UNRELATED to the initial deal.Just a weird coincidence. It happens. You changed and removed the wheels,or someone else?
I don''t know anything about torque values in different gears. You say in 2nd and 4th,it doesn't do this. But in 3rd,it will.MAYBE,there's a strange "torque" going on just enough to create a vibration in 3rd?IDK.Still...it shouldn't be doing this at all...no matter what gear yer in.The tire IS okay, yes? You inspected the tread carefully, right? No strange formation under the tread or anything?Carcass is appearing fully attached to the tread?Any bulges anywhere...even a slight one maybe?
