As most of you know, I was forced to make a hard decision last year (2012). I had gotten into a high speed pursuit on the 14R and unfortunately for me the helicopter was scrambled fast enough to get me. I sold the bike to keep myself out of jail. I have learned my lesson and have changed and grown so much since then. Fast Forward to now. I'm on a mission to not only get another 14 but to have one of the fastest street bikes in the world. I plan on having either a 12-14 14R with a turbo and take it to houston texas for the TX2K14 event. The big dog cars there are putting down 1200-1800rwhp. I figure I would need 400-500 horsepower to beat the underground racing team. I plan on doing it on the track at the event. What are your guys' thoughts. I would appreciate if comments about me staying off another 14 to yourself.

I just wanna know if getting out of a felony offense evading rap is as easy as selling the vehicle to a local orphanage.

SECOND:
If you got the money to build a 500 hp 14r, go for it!!! I still think you are going to have a hell of time to beat the very fastest cars that reputedly do 260 mph. IDK if you will find any of those at those kind of LSR events but if you do, you aint gonna beat them. but have fun.

For example Michigan has 4 different levels of Fleeing and Eluding. In MI, you're almost certain to get a 4th degree turned into a misdemeanor through a plea deal. Keep in mind, if a cop is chasing you and HE crashes and DIES because he lost control - you will be held responsible for his death even though you technically had nothing to do with it. Good info on running. I shouldn't assume that all cops have enough brains to give up before they get in over their heads. I think holding a suspect responsible for cops stupid choice to pursue at high speed for nothing more than street racing is a pile of . They do not EVER have to choose to put themselves in danger. I feel for that poor guys family but lets face it, there's a good chance he wanted to go fast and he picked on non threatening, non armed, fleeing prey to get his rocks off (speed rush or authority issues). He should have stopped and radioed.

I can't help loving to go fast. I try to do it as safely as I can. yeah I would feel terrible if my fun lead to a friend's death or a cop if either was stupid enough to drive beyond his own limits.
