My Ladies
10/23/11 11:41 PM

Alright, so I'm fairly new to this forum but not new to the Kawasaki Ninja ZX14. I love these machines. They have gobs and gobs of power and they've never let me down. I live in El Paso, Texas so in the summer time when it's nice hot I love getting those tires hot.

This was what my first ZX14 looked like. Unfortunately I layed it down the second night I had it (happened to be the first bike I learned to ride on).

Here are a few more photos of the many nights I had fun blasting down the highway and streets. Safe of course with all the right protection.

I had a few friends riding with me in high school (I was 17 when I got the 07' ZX14) who all had 600's. I heard, saw, and felt what a major difference a full exhaust made to their bikes so it was time to get one for my lady. (Stella is her name)

Stella (07')

Wow. Stella never ceased to amaze, and turn heads. Until....Andressa came along!
Andressa, my 09', was my Kawasaki dealer's new, 80 mile, cherry drag bike. This was Andressa when she was getting new tires to make her street legal.

Adressa was too fast, lowered, and hooked up with goodies. I took her out a week later after some mild riding and see what she had. 98mph on first gear before shifting. YOWZA! I didn't pay attention after that, the gear change was too violent and I was then too focused as I accelerated in speed. This was Andressa before that ride.

Andressa and Stella.

Unfortunately, Andressa went down due to a very different ride from the lowering and she was down for a while until the new skins (fairings) came in for her.
Stay posted and let me know what you think. I'd like some feedback. Thanks.

Grn14 is that you blue07 lool it didn't take you long to change loool
I hate to market Brock's product for free but..... they arr awesome! Really nice at idle I had my friend ride away from me in my apt complex and I don't see my neighbor bitching at me for the sound but when you reach north of 5000 rpm... man just the sound gives me goose bumps like privateer says she becomes a banshee as you get propelled to supersonic speed. The sound matches the mr. Hyde- dr jekyll personality. Best looking pipes for the 14 imo!
"ct duals the only way to fly" I'm gna still that from you as well Privateer lol
Wait for brocks to come with new ones for the R, though he said duals can support 216 hp you wanna wait for pipe tailored to the R needs.

Yup - CT Duals - luv em'

What's the noise factor like with those?Compared to stock that is.Idling.

Blue, er I mean Grn14 / Kid - the noise is Great! It has a great idle! Well really more like a low growl... Stock at idle, I could barely hear whenever I left the garage and went inside for something... CT Duals - at idle I can FEEL it reverberating thru the house all the way into my upstairs bedroom and like DK says, from 5k up the sound is unbelievable! I also love the sound as you decel... nothing like it. Really woke my bird up from the stock system... I hope that by the time I pull the trigger on the 14R, Brock's has a set tailored for it so I can throw them on the new bird as well! The entry price for the CT Duals is on the high side, about 2k, but I quickly got over that the first time that I started the bike after install and heard that deep wonderful tone, and when I rode and gave the throttle a good twist.... WOW!
