Damaged Angel Gt should I replace?
07/27/15 8:42 PM

I have run a set of Angel GT tires for about 3500k and found a cut in the tread. It is no deeper than 2mm. I was going to bring it to my local shop but figured I would as an impartial audience first. Is this something I should be concerned about?

I think you're ok to run it. It's not deep enough to have damaged the cords.

One good weekend of twisty roads and you won't even be able to see that scratch.

No worries. I'd still run it!

Thanks for the responses, my confidence has been restored, Its just that half the stuff you read out there says if there is any damage to a tire you should replace it, but they never say what is minor and does not need replacing...
