how long are the front brake lines on an 06?

I want to replace the front brake lines to steel braided and bypass the triple tree splitter and go straight from the master cylinder to the left and right calipers with each line. Because of this I don't know how long to order them without experimenting with string or something. I also have 1.25" risers so that has to be taken into account as well.
I tried to search on Partzilla but they don't ever tell the length of the stock lines and I am changing the design anyway so I can't figure it out.

thanks
Joel

2-4" extra is not too bad. You angle the banjos down and that will pull out the slack. Just barely enough is not good IMHO.

Most manufacturers have the length and banjo angles predetermined for the bike. You just type in what year and model and they will send you what they think is best. Golfer was a little stingy on length for my busa. Goodriges on my 14 were on the generous side and routed better.

I'd go with solid kevlar. Bit thinner OD and very nice weightless. SS is going to weigh about what stock rubber does. Kevlar is durable. Mine are 8 years old.

yes, but I want them longer because of my risers.....Longer clutch line too but I will have to see if the stock one is too tight right now.

fuck it. I will run a string down and measure what I need.

thanks
