So, the co-pilot was at a baby shower, and I had the day free so I pulled the KNG KAWI out and put on the old race one piece and headed out to our East Bay roads, Redwood, Skyline and Grizzly Peak to the Wall. Well, I gotta say, since California passed a law that states that cars must give bicycles 3 FEET room to pass them, things have gone to hell on our back roads. 3 times I was coming around a corner to find a car halfway in MY Lane going around a bicycle. WTF!?!?!? And, to make matters worse, now the spandex crowd seems to think this new law allows them to ride right in the middle of the flucking lane! I had to constantly beep the horn to get them to move the frack over. All this and I found that they have actually repaved a real fun section with new asphalt, which almost redeemed the situation. Until I almost got run over by another bicycle avoiding car. I think most of the cage drivers believe their car is 10 feet wide or something. So, at least here in Sunny CA, be careful out there!
