What is best procedure for bleeding front brakes?

The factory manual says to bleed the M/C first, then the right caliper and then the left caliper.
Several days ago I read a topic and the member said he had trouble bleeding the brakes starting with the M/C, so he bled the calipers first, then the M/C.
I'm going to bleed mine this afternoon and I'd like to know what procedure you've used that works for you. Thanks for any help.

If you have drained all the fluid, I think you'll have a hard time getting anything at the caliper unless you get the fluid flowing through the MC first.

Do BOTH. If you have all the bleeders cracked, might as well. I always bleed the MC first if it's dry so I know the fluid is flowing good, then work down to the last caliper. Then tap on the lines and go in reverse from the caliper to the MC. Air rises in fluid, it's not going to go down.

Thanks. I'll bleed the M/C first then work down to the calipers, then tap the lines and work my way back to the M/C. I split the left caliper so there will be a lot of air in there. Also installing speedbleeders. Thanks again.
