I will be installing the ABM streetfighter handlebar conversion soon and was wondering if anyone can provide feedback of the Double Bubble style windscreens and if they function well.
Thanks.

I have the Zero Gravity Sport Touring screen, and although it does deflect some air, it also makes a loud roar in my helmet that isn't there with the stock screen. The nice thing about the taller screen is that I can tuck in behind it which is much better on my neck when going fast.
I tried a DB screen on my VFR and is was just ok.

Hi smoknz1,
Check out the "Kawasaki Genuine Spoiler Screen???" thread under "ZX-14 Performance Upgrades" for more info as well...

This Chinese-made windshield actually made some differences. It deflects air better than the stock. Since I am 5' 8" and taller riders will not get this benefit, I guess.

i have double bubble and found it created alot more turbulence behind the screen , ened up drilling hole in the screen after seeing alot of the isle of man racers doing this, i removes lower pressure behind screen and smooths airflow. worked very well

I need one for a clearance issue with the bracket I have for my radar detector. If not for that I wouldn't bother with it.

Combination radar mount bracket/guillotine. +10 bonus points if your head comes to rest on the bracket itself.
I don't think I'd hit my head/neck on it, I'm more afraid it might clip off a nut or two. On the brighter side, after watching some of your videos I realized a guy doesn't need a set of balls to ride a motorcycle.

At least your planning for the future. A future I would consider kind of bizarre, but a future none-the-less.

Hahaha. Where do you find this shit? Anyway maybe I'll look for a new place for my radar detector.

Back in the 90s Sport Rider or Motorcyclist did an article about this guy. It was titled something like ghost of such-n-such (wherever in Canada). The story opened with rider mythos about the legend of a 6'+ tall women on an old 600 that would appear out of no where and blast by all the weekend riders on certain Canadian back roads. It was funny to read and definitely weird too!

"How tall are you aegisrnager?"
I'm 6' tall. It's getting cold here, so I'm going to put the ST windscreen back on this week. Glad I have good earplugs since I'll be back to a loud roar in my helmet.

I have a zero gravity DB and it worked great up to and over 200.
It gave a nice still air pocket behind while tucked..
and for everyday riding it worked better then stock for me
I'm 5'7" if that matters.

I'm 6'2", tried the ZG ST but the air made my helmet dance and the noise was awful!!! The Corsa screen is a little taller then the stock screen and is just about right for my height. After trying a couple of different screens I think I'm going to stick with the Corsa.

I went back to the stock screen.
It just...'works'...I'm 6'1".Strange thing is...it SEEMS the more aftermarket things I put on this bike...I always end up returning to stock....not with the wheels though...that extra rotating weight does have an effect on handling and stuff.HOWEVER...because they do weigh more(the stockers)....there IS a certain stability when rolling.
My riding bud rode my 14 yesterday...and I his(he's got a 2014 Red 14R...killer bike...all stock except for the exhaust and Ivan's flash/PC5 setup). His main observation was the quickness mine turned in.Okay...I'll give em that...and shorter braking distance and such....but honestly...for regular ring and hitting curves and all...at 70's through 120's...the stock wheels do a really good job of helping to keep the chassis settled(by stabilizing the wheel tracking). That's my opinion anyway.
Sorry..I know it's a windscreen thread....but I've been through almost EVERY type of windscreen that's made for the 14.Thoroughly tested em all.For the average rider...at legal speeds and then some...the stock screen is very well designed.IMO.At 6'1" I get VERY VERY light windflow hitting my head...and a bit more hitting my chest....not uncomfortable or distracting at all.

Just had a Chinese double bubble style screen delivered bought from ebay? Installed it. Fits perfect. Thought it would be taller (I'm 6'5") but can't see the front of the screen like I could with the standard screen. Looks good too!
Haven't ridden the bike yet but for $20 Australian delivered, it was worth a try.

Looks GOOD!;)Don't most of the guys at the isle Of Man use DB's?At 6'5"...you're gonna be hard pressed to to get a screen that moves that windflow over and around you I would think.Maybe not.IMO..the two bwst at deflecting and minimizing windblast are the MRA Spoilerscreen...and the Factory screen.Though I DO have a Zero Gravity Touring screen that works really well at deflecting wind...it does however look a little 'odd' on a sportbike...It has a 4" higher profile...over stock.
I have a couple of DB's...I don't use em now...my main one is that spoilerscreen...it seems to deflect very nicely around the outside edges..out to around a foot or so of smoother air...nice when you're cornering at speed and leaning to the inside.Smoothes out the forward windblast as well...

At 188 cm tall here is what I found
Double bubble made a lot more wind noise and also more air hitting me in the neck/chin. Std screen was better
MRA screen gives me a lot more protection, less noise and no air pushing up against my neck or helmet. Find this screen better than the std.
