02/02/12 5:39 PM

I had my local kawi dealer install muzzey lowering links and the bike fits me perfect but when I went to dismount and my brand new green ZX14R almost hit the floor luckily my dad was there to catch it idk if it is the kickstand but it folded as soon as i lifted my leg what is the problem ?

Did the shop cut the kickstand?

There's your problem... cut it... or order an adjustable.

Not 100% sure if parts swap, but I have one of THESE on my '08.

THIS is another option for a little less $$$.

Just cut it and have it welded. I did mine at the welder so he could get the right angle on base otherwise it won't sit on the ground level. It is a direct replacement from prior years as I switched mine before trading in the bike on the 14R
